I thought I was numb, but it actually pissed me off.

I guess I'm at the point where nothing can actually make me think we suck any worse. I'm not sure why people are reacting as if this is some kind of revelation...

Agreed.... I said to my wife as Nevada went up by 14..... This is proof that it is 100% coaching. I don't care how good or bad our recruits are..... The non-BCS team clearly has a "gameplan" that has a chance to work.... our game last week had NO plan....

I laughed.... laughed, and laughed some more.... it was one of those uncomfortable laughs....

Nevada did what they wanted to against a defense that made the Buffs look like a bottom dweller. There is just not much passion for the Buffs left to get wound up over this. Again it is just resignation that this is the way it is going to be without some changes. I've grown used to futile efforts and uninspiring performances.

Obviously Nevada must have a coach with a 20 year contract. Plus they must have much better facilities than CU. Otherwise, the only obvious choice is that they have coaches that know how to coach.

It's harder and harder to find 5 more wins in this schedule.

we wont.... 3 maybe....

When it becomes mathematically impossible for CUHCDH to obtain DiStephano's "good bowl game" expectation, I hope the bald chancellor changes his mind about waiting until after the season to evaluate any staffing change.

IMO, keeping him around is akin to living with cancer until it is more convienent to take it out. You figure out you have cancer, you take it out. You treat it-- now!!

again, the only thing I've been looking forward since that 2008 Mizzou game is this mofo getting fired. It finally seems like it will happen this year. I hope he gets fired today.

Lat night's Cal-Nevada game didnt surprise me, it just pissed me off that Hackins is still our coach.

Let's hope the moves on the OL and the Poker Tell of our recent center are in the past.
I am chalking the CAL game up to poor coaching, not poor playing for the most part.

I really do not want to lose to Hawaii. For Alfred's sake if nothing else.

I think it has more to do with their ability to pipe in crowd noise to their practice facilities. That's got to be it, right?

I heard that like 2/3 of the Nevada players have been arrested, so they must be far better athletes than the good will ambassadors that we recruit.

Lots of twinkles in those Nevada players' eyes. They must all come from 2 parent homes.

I think it speaks most to 1) how bad we are on the road, 2) how big home field advantage is, and 3) how good Nevada is

I don't really care. I mean, I knew we sucked. Anytime you lose as bad as we did yo Cal, you suck. Even if Cal was as good as Bama or whatever, you can't lose to a team that badly and not suck all the balls.

OK, this is a different take. My co-worker graduated from Cal but got a masters at CU. He's a fan of both. Leading up the toe Cal game he told me Cal is sort of schytzo. They play great at home and suck on the road. He said they are a good 20 points better at home. So, what happened with Nevada is not all that surprising.

As far as how that relates to CU, I don't know. The next few weeks will tell. My hope is that things just snowballed on CU last week and they totally lost their poise. That would not happened if they were better prepared though. So, I'm still kind of wait and see over the next two games before I totally give up on us. I do believe 100% that no matter how this season turns out, Hawkins should move along. He has become way too polorizing.
