Does anyone have pictures of the new ribbon boards and video boards at the CEC?

My gf has a test in coors tonight and I'm going to walk her over to get a look myself. I'll try to get some pics when I'm there if no one beats me to it.
I did indeed make the trip to Coors tonight (on my way to grab a burrito). Here's what I was able to capture with my phone:
Here is one of the newly installed video boards. It may not look very different from here but I know this is a NEW video board. You'll find out how I know in just a minute.
It's kind of hard to see but we now have ribbon board on both long sides of the court. The fly-away baskets are also evident here. I think I like it.
I think they might be doing 360 degree ribbon board so perhaps this is next phase. I'm not sure what else it could be.
Here is one of our ex orange dot "video" boards. I hope I never have to look at one of these again.

That scaffolding on the side is very interesting. Hope it is for more than a new paint job.
I might be a little bit worried if I weren't already on faculty...

thanks, GB, appreciate it...so are the fly away baskets going to be used for games or are they practice only?
That I don't know. I'll see what I can find out but if I had to guess I would bet they stay for games. They look pretty solid but we'll find out soon enough. Tip-off is in less than two months...

I remember hearing Mike Bohn talk about the fly away backboards, and he was getting really excited. I was thinking to myself then, what is he talking about, they got rid of those things years ago for good reasons. Luckly my seats arent behind those hidious things.
+1. Thats why they are called FLY AWAY boards. Should be interesting to see if they keep the 2 on the ends of the court down for games tho.
I'm sure this the case. For all the improvements being done we don't want to look like a high school gym.

then why the **** are we building a practice facility?
Since the new practice facility won't be ready until next season, somethng was needed for this season. IIRC, after the new cushioned BB floor was installed in the CECC, they were unable to use their old movable baskets to provide the additional hoops needed for practice sessions. They would have damaged the new floor, I believe. So the fly-away baskets are to provide the needed extra baskets for this seasons practices. Maybe they then plan to move them to the new practice facility since they will no longer be needed at the CECC. (At least that would seem to me to be the smart thing to do) By the way, I was at the CECC for the volleyball match tonight and the baskets go way up and are totally out of the way.... no impact on line of sight.
In case this is a serious question, it's because we currently have 3 programs trying to schedule a single facility for practices while working around game and class schedules. MBB, WBB and VB have been at a huge competitive disadvantage due to this. It has also hurt recruiting to not have facilities that measure up (this gets them extra locker, meeting, workout and film rooms too).
I dont think the problem is with the side baskets being within sight, it is just the normal baskets for people sitting up in the cheap seats on the ends. Also those baskets have always been there, or at least have been for the last 7 or 8 years, they just never came down, I assumed that since they started using the roll away baskets, or they broke, either way there was no longer a need for them, and it cost too much to take them out. Ill keep a open mind, but I am not much of a fan.
If they need them for the cushioned floor, then fair enough, but what is a cushioned Basketball floor?
