Stanford at Notre Dame

Jim Harbaugh is a top 5 coach in the country. I love the way they play football.

If I was in Vegas this weekend I actually would've taken ND and the points. But with the full hope that I'd lose my money.

I would have gone with the Pac-10 Parlay today and taken Stanford -1, UCLA +21 and Oregon State +16.

I thought that Stanford was a 4-point favorite, but I was just going by the college football pick 'em. Even so, ND is typically a good bet as a home dog.

my pickem line was Stan -5.5, but we use early in the week lines. i still took Stan. i like their club and Luck.

He had a running TD as fullback and a pick 6 playing as a linebacker. The only athlete in college who plays offense and defense.

Yes, Yes a meaningless post that just pads my numbers but regarding this game I just had to say...........AWESOME ND GETS BEAT!!!!!!

Stanford didn't just win this game, they bitch slapped ND around and kicked them to the curb. They abused ND. Embarassed them on their home field. And ND can't even come back with the "oh, yeah, well we're the better school" retort, either.

This is fantastic.

So if we're going to be considering hot coordinators in the Hawkins replacement pool ala McElwain...shouldn't the OC at Stanford at least be in the conversation, I really love their style of play.

Trouble with this is that the OC at Stanford is actually Harbaugh, he runs the show on offense. I think he's a jerk and would love to see him lose but he's to good a coach to lose many and I don't see him going anywhere soon. He is smart enough to know that he can have a comfortable deal at Stanford as long as he wants to stay as long as he keeps winning. His only move would be to the NFL and he knows that that is a pressure cooker that tends to be a short time deal.
