Anybody coming into town for the UGA game want to catch a BHS game Friday night?

Many of you know I do the chains at BHS games. If you're interested, and would like to get in to see the game, let me know. Game is on Friday night at 7:00 PM.

Who are they playing?

Ralston Valley.

BHS has a TE on the team that could end up getting some D-1 attention. Kid's name is Jordan Sloat. As a TE, he's fairly pedestrian, IMO. That's probably because BHS doesn't throw the ball very much. However, I think he'd make a fantastic DE with a little weight on him. He plays DT for BHS, but is under-sized for that position, if you ask me. He's got a motor that won't stop and a nasty streak to boot.

Need someone to hold the other stick, eh?

Nope. We actually have more people than we need. We had some problems a couple years ago with only having a 4-person crew. There was always somebody who couldn't make a game, and it made for some interesting games. We added two more so that we would never be short-handed. It's worked out pretty well. I can't tell you the last time we didn't have enough people to run the chains.

Nice gesture and all, but if you're in your old alma mater's college town for the weekend only and decide to go to the BHS football game on Friday night, then good luck.

Please remind me where EXACTLY the tail gate party is. Looked for it last year and found no Allbuffers. Would like to meet some of you folks. Staying at the old harvest house. Have a parking spot under Crawford in front of the stadium near Eng. building.

Look at it this way - BHS is located three blocks from Pearl St. The game will end at around 9:30. Can you think of a few things to do on Pearl St at 9:30 on a Friday night?

Plus, BHS is - for the time being anyway - playing some really solid football. It might be the best football you see all weekend.

Look forward to meeting you and probably not remembering it.

Watching HS football is a hoot. Love the kids, the atmosphere, the excitement ... a whole different level.
Can't be there this time, but maybe later this season.

Funny,
As it turns out, we will be one man down this Friday. We can do this with three guys, but four is optimal. So if anybody wants to help run the chains, lemme know.
