Georgia's offense...

I've watched parts of their games and their offense is struggling to score points.

They have a big OL and some decent rb's in ealey and king but haven't been able to run consistently.

Bad news for the buffs is, green is back at wr for this game and that will open things up.He's 6-4 and they have another good wr durham who's 6-5. Jimmy and jalil will have their work cut out for them.CU has got to get pressure up front and our db's must play tough or this will be their get well game in a big way.

Surprisingly our RS Fr. Qb has been one of our few bright spots on Off this year. He's made a few freshman mistakes but has been poised overall. We've moved the ball well between the 20's but have had probs in the redzone. Ealy has fumbled inside the 5yd line in 3 straight games. A coupla dropped TD passes & several holding, false start etc. penalties have killed us in scoring position.

So basically we are a team that is fundamentally unsound (TO's, penalties). We have a OC who is sometimes clueless, we tackle poorly & have several pass coverage breakdowns in every game.

UGA is a below average team this year & y'all have a great chance to beat us in Boulder. Y'all have all the intangibles on your side, a bye week, your 1990 celebration & the hoopla surrounding it, UGA traveling cross country after playing 2 of 3 SEC games on the road, our 3 game losing streak & I really think our players are feeling real sorry for themselves.

Our fanbase is in an uproar, the media is questioning the coaches & players.... It sets up well for a Buff "upset" Saturday...

OH YEAH... How much is a handle of Maker's Mark going for in Boulder?? We'll be there Thur. & I think my group is gonna need a couple.... See ya Thursday.....

I agree with Dallas. our OL, was supposed to be our biggest asset, adn they really suck. There's no other way to put it. My 11 yr old who plays DE, would have like 4 sacks a game against this line, lol. We seem to be playing with little or no heart.
We're coming over for the game. I have been looking at maps, how close is Pearl st and all the bars to the stadium? Also, where's a good place to park at the stadium for tailgating?

Pearl is about a mile from the stadium. Avoid the parking hassles and stop by the allbuffs tailgate. All are welcome. To find us, get a campus map. Find Farrand Hall. Go there. Look for the group with the blue tent on the NW corner of the building. No, you won't be able to drive there. Your best bet is to find a place to park and walk in. Bring the Makers. We'll drink it.

Looks like the weather is going to be perfect. Enjoy one of the most beautiful campuses you will ever see.

The zip-lock baggie with whiskey trick that your fans taught us when we were at the UGA game in 2006 will work well in Boulder...just an FYI. Been doing it regularly.

I would recommend the Allbuffs tailgater prior to the game. Also will recommned getting into the stadium a little early since the last few late afternoon/night games have had attrocious waits to get into the stadium - I doubt they have fixed it.

Praying the CU fans show the same gracious trreatment that we received in 2006 (I know the Allbuffs crowd will). That was the BEST away game that I have ever been to and it had everything to do with the fans.

I hope some of you Dawg fans do come by the Allbuffs tailgate. I have a lot of friends from Georgia and like your type of people.

We're attending a tailgate put on by the Colorado UGA Alumni Ass. at the business field? on the CU campus that starts at 1:00.... Tailgate sold out gonna be 3,000 UGA fans there, I got this e-mail last Fri.

"AS YOU KNOW, WE ARE SOLD NOW OUT. CU HAS GIVEN NO WIGGLE ROOM ON THE 3,000 PERSON LIMIT. AS MUCH AS WE WOULD LOVE TO ALLOW MORE IN, WE ARE NOT ALLOWED. THE WAITING LIST IS FULL WITH 50 PEOPLE IN CASE OTHERS WANT TO GIVE UP THEIR TICKETS. THEY WILL BE CONTACTED IF ANY MORE TICKETS OPEN UP. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ASKING FOR MORE TICKETS. WE ARE SORRY, BUT THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO."

Cant wait to visit your campus & city this weekend...

Wow, nice showing! That should be a good time for all the UGA fans. Other than if you're wearing red, I don't think you'll get a hard time from CU fans

For any other UGA fans not doing the alumni tailgate, the allbuffs tailgate is a good option. Disclaimer: I haven't been to one, but have heard good things.

Otherwise, there is a cash lot near the practice fields on the north side of the stadium off of Folsom you can drive to. I don't know when that opens, but I tailgate in the permit lot next to it and I'd guess at least 4+ hours before kickoff. Maybe $20/car to park?

You might let your friends know-- CU is selling individual tickets. The game WILL NOT be a sell out. If you have friends who want to go, there will be plenty of tickets available.

I am not usually one to complement other teams and their fans.... But I do want to say to all you Georgia fans looking around here you are all a great bunch of fans. I am so used to the NU, OU and UT fans coming on and talking sh-t for a weeks before a game. It is truly refreshing to have a group of fans that are genuinely nice and excited to come see a game in Boulder. I hope you all have a great time in CO and I hope you enjoy the atmosphere and receive the same great treatment all the CU fans enjoyed while visiting Athens.

Just to add my quick thoughts on some of the Georgia fan questions- Parking does kind of suck on gameday if you don't have a University parking pass. But there is a cash lot on the north side just off of Folsom (literally less than 5 minute walk to the stadium) or there are a few places like the Millennium Harvest House right on 28th/US36 which have parking and good pregame bar as well as walking distance to the stadium. I know that was at least the case the past few years but might wanna call to confirm that one.

How does one get into the allbuffs tailgate? Is there a cost? Do I byob, ro is alcohol included. I do want to see Ralphie run in the stadium. Other than UGA, I always thought a real live Bison was a cool mascot.

Our tailgate is on the b-school lot too & it'll be a good mixture of Georgia & CU fans so you're all welcome to stop by. My boyfriend is a Dawg and then some other Denver friends are all Dawgs & will all be hanging out for a bit. We'll have a CU tent & probably both flags flying. A few of my group went down to Athens in '06 and like others have said, had the absolute best time. No road trip has even come close since then or probably ever will.

You just walk over, introduce yourself by saying "HI, I'm Billdawg, is this allbuffs?". We'll say "yeah". If you have beer and/or some Makers, you'll be allowed into the group. One very nice thing about the allbuffs tailgate is that we are within a stone's throw of where Ralphie is kept prior to the game. She leaves about an hour before gametime, but you can walk right up to her and get your picture taken. Don't touch, though. She gets kinda pissed off when people try to touch her horns. The handlers will tell you what you can and what you can't do.

I have a grill, and I'll be making up some burgers & brats. If you have something in particular you want me to grill up, bring it along.

The B-school field is where the visiting fans typically set up for their tailgates. It's a nice spot, but a bit removed from the stadium. If you're unable to get in over there, please feel free to stop by the allbuffs tailgate. Go to the tailgate forum and let me know you'll be there, though.
Part of the reason why CU won't allow more people on that field is because it won't fit any more. The tailgating at CU is spread out over the entire campus. The B-School is just one spot among about 30 different lots. Each lot has it's own character. We're partial to Farrand due to the proximity to the stadium, the views, and the fact that the band marches right past us on their way into the stadium before the game.

And all the Freshman ass walking around that I can "holla" at.

Sweet, I think we'll stop by. Getting my picture taken with Ralphie would be awesome.
