Buffs will be taking on Mizzou in a nationally televised game at 5pm. Time for the Buffs to make a statement!

Oh. s.h.i.t.

On the bright side, we'll be treated to all kinds of fabulous excuses from Hawkins. Something along the lines of "Well, gee. They did exactly the same thing they did the last four times we played them, so that's kind of a surprise right there".

Absolutely love getting kicked in the nards on national television.

Sure would like to stick it to them in our last meeting.

Since Nebraska isn't visiting Columbia in their final Big 12 season, does that mean CU will get what NU usuall gets from the MU crowd?

Disaster. Ordinarily I would be excited about the exposure, but I don't want to see another Mizzery team dismantle the Buffs. It's freaking Mizzery!

Whatever happens in the game--and I'm sure it'll be a beating--well at least we'll know that we were first pick for a conference and didn't have to be settled for, only then to be relegated to the Mack-10.

That's the only positive news I can spin on this. Can't wait to see 2-3 guys rush while everyone else drops back and Gabbert picks us apart. Ugh.

I for one am happy the Buffs are on TV. I'd rather be able to watch them than not be able to.

Granted, it'll likely be another a** kicking that Mizzou gives us, but if that's the case, it'll just be another nail in Danny's coffin.

i love that post/seam route MU runs for really long TD passes against us. we seem to give that one up a couple times per 50 point thrashing. we act like defending that one is against the rules. last year i called that play to my buddy at the game (they scored once, the other was about a 24 yarder) at the LOS twice.

If there's been one team that D-II Danny just can't figure out it's Missouri. The guy is 100% clueless about how to play them. He's had four years to try to figure it out, and still hasn't the first idea. It doesn't matter where the game is played, either. He'll get his head beaten in in Boulder just as easily as in Columbia. Makes no diff to D-II Danny.

I'm sure the game will come down to the little things. Getting their horns out. And bringing their lunchpails. That's all that has been missing the last four years. Little things & lunchpails.

Glad we're on national tv.

Bad history against Missouri under Hawkins. Equally bad road record under Hawkins. No matter what happens against Georgia, I won't be expecting us to play very well.

Its crazy too because after we shutout Wyoming last year I though HaLk had it figuered out.

Weren't we up 10-0 for the 2007 game? My brain froze that night.

Remind me again why we still have to put up with Talkins?

Think we got up 7-0 and then they tied it up. But we did lead after the first quarter if I recall correctly. That game got pretty cold toward the end of the game. Mizzou spread offense = four hour game ending after 8pm in November. Ouch. We stayed up until about the five minute mark of the 4th quarter and left, with my brother angrily telling me, "Some ****ing great impression we left on Darrell Scott tonight! ****!"

5pm @ Mizzou

I believe this is the same start time, location, etc as 2008's 58-0 asshanding, aka "the Tom Suazo incident." That game almost single-handedly ruined my honeymoon.

Past experience is not necessarily indicative of future performance, except for Colorado - Missouri games.

I feel even sorrier for the players than for us if that's possible. It can't be that hard to say, "Danny we don't need you anymore."

Well, win or lose, they have to go back home to Missoura and we don't. That's a victory.
