our ralphie handler. Then make it a .gif for the world to enjoy forever and ever

I think he was getting too close to Ralphie and was tackled for his own protection.

That was funny, you could see him lining him up for about thirty yards.

The guy was actually live on FSN when the handler took him out (or at least they played it off that way). You could hear him going on about "where's the flag!" a couple of times on air.

9news just ran the clip during the 10:00 recap on sports, but they suck and apparently have no video on their site.

It was hlarious... I have iton my DIRECTV DVR.... not on the computer

The reporter was running backwards and the handler was only staying in position. It was going to happen, we could all see it coming, but the reporter ... clueless.
Maybe it will make Plays of the Week - it should.

OH NO... he lined him up.... I don't know what you were watching....
My first reaction is that the handler thought he was a student doing something stupid....

Hope FSN replays this game soon, so I can watch again and record it.
I was probably focusing back and forth on Ralphie and the reporter, not the handler, but sounds like you got the complete picture.

Go Ralphie! Go Ralphie handler! ST player of the week!

:lol::rofl2:

It just makes no sense for that guy to just lay a shoulder into him. Classic!

not a clip. looked clean to me. like to see our guy get a little lower. Knox took the angle too sharp and i could see why the handler thought there might be trouble. better safe than a goring.

Just hate it when Jim Knox disrespects and cheapens CU's beloved Ralphie Run by turning it into his own personal highlight film.

That bozo deserved what he got. That hit put on Knox makes me want to send a check and a thank you to the handlers.

You don't suppose that Jim Knox ASKED the handler to do that? After reviewing the vid, it seems he had as much opportunity to miss the handler as the handler had to miss him... Could have been a set up to make the highlights?

You might be on to something there AJ. I just watched it several times, and from what I saw, you could say a couple of things:
1. The handler obviously body checked him on purpose. He lined him up, and stepped into his path with a shoulder.
2. I don't think that the first handler intended to knock him into the path of the second handler, where both of them went down. That was just happy coincidence!!
3. Knox didn't seem upset at all about it. In fact, at the end of the clip, he mugs to the camera as if to say "did you get it?"
4. They need to keep media idots OFF the field.

It's suspicious when he keeps saying into the mic: where's the flag? there's no flag!

That actually makes more sense that the handler would check him on request...

I think the handler was trying to keep him from taking a dangerous angle and accidentally pushed him into the other handler.

Whatever, I love the video, not just because a sideline reporter gets laid out, but because it really gives a great perspective for Ralphies run. The hanlders chest -bumping aferward (as I remember it), the whole just fired me up!
