I just looked up Franklin. I knew about the lightening rod, but I didn't know he invented the odometer (for his carriage) and bifocal glasses. Pretty ingenious guy.

Okay so I'm just thick the KSU guy is doing his wrong answers on purpose. Funny stuff.

Yeah, that was the best part of the video. Him telling them wrong answers after they guessed wrong. That joke will last.

you didnt know about bifocals... really?

You can do that to any fanbase, but it is funny. I'm sure there was some editing, but...AHAHAHAHA...good stuff.

Reminds me of Jaywalking with Jay Leno.

I submitted my comments on the site. Christ that was a funny video.

most of america is that way.... if he turned the camera on some purple pussies, he would get similar answers....

Leno does this a lot... and gets the same answers...

No, I get that part. Stupid people are everywhere. You probably didn't read my remarks at the KSU site, but my point is that nebraska fans are more likely to cover the education spectrum than other fan bases, because following their football team is more regionally specific, than it is university specific.

I suspect that a lower percentage of nebraska fans graduated from the school for which they root than fans of other univeristies.

It's not a a bad thing--I'd love to have broader support at CU--it just is what it is. But I also suspect that it makes it easier to get Leno Jaywalking types of responses at their tailgates than at others.

also... there appears to be a mix of alcohol and when a camera is thrusted in front of people, some decide to be humorous instead of answering seriously.... another factor that may be at play....

and statistically speaking.....

here is an article that delves into "what people know"

I now have no idea what your argument is.

Let me help you with mine.

You concluded that KSU fans would have exhibited similar ignorance if the cameras had been turned on them.

I stated that I'd reached a different conclusion.

I'm working with the assumption that most college students and college graduates could answer those questions handily.

I additionally assume that because nebraska football is a state-wide phenomenon, which attracts fans from all walks of life, that they sport a lower percentage of college graduates in their fan base (a non judgmental observation) and therefore, a lower education level is generally found amongst their tailgate participants.

I'm assuming that KSU fans are mostly alum and students, because otherwise who in the **** would root for KSU?

And since I think college graduates and students can answer those questions asked, I believe that there would likely be a different result if the cameras were turned on the KSU tailgaters.

I was not arguing against your premise that there are ignorant people everywhere. I happen to agree with that. Also, to me, it doesn't look like those husker fans are playing dumb.

You're welcome to argue against any of my points. It just didn't seem as though we were part of the same conversation.

I can't dispute any of your points since I agree with all of them. I seem to be getting into several discussions with you recently and we come out on the same side... Ill move on to someone stupider:smile2: like Junction

Agreed and good observations. I think the same would go for anyone you interviewed in the SEC, or pretty much anywhere in the south where you have fans who come from all walks of life. But if you tried this at Stanford, Boston College, or anywhere else where you don't have a lot of fans who are all alums the questions would be answered pretty easily.
