It is looking good for CU in South division according to this article...

Honestly, I don't think it matters much. With 9-conference games per year, we will get ample exposure throughout Pac country.

Everything seems to be falling in place really well for CU in this process. This athletic department seems to have only one, glaring, huge, annoying, program killing problem.

:wtf:I don't know what you could possibly be talking about here, Sacky. What problem?

And now cue the sarcasm emoticon...

Actually, after the sarcastic post, for purely selfish reasons I was warming to CU in the North as it would have guaranteed a game (if not two) in the PacNorWest every year and with me moving to Seattle - that ROCKED!

But as for what's best for the university, I'm all on board with being in the South. Much more alum support there than in Washington or Oregon, and a guaranteed game in SoCal every year. Not bad!

Although for Sacky, it looks like you won't get your wish to be in the same division as Stanford if this comes to fruition.

This is a problem, but not one I can't live with. So I make the trip to Stanford once every four years instead of once every other year. It's not the worst thing in the world. Plus we'll have the occassional game at Cal, too. Tailgating at Cal is teh suxors, though. In the grand scheme of things, CU being in the South is a better situation for us. It makes sense geographically, too. The thought that they'd move CU and UU away from the Arizona schools seems absurd to me.

Hey, I'm looking forward to being the Wazzu of the South.

I'd be happy if it happens that we get in with the AZ schools and USC/UCLA. Better news if that is combined with revenue being equally shared.
