Tyler Hansen

How would you grade Tyler?

  • F - Tyler has sucked, and so has the playcalling.

C+ / C

Good arm, stays in pocket well....good intermediate passing but has trouble looking downfield when jammed. Needs more big play ability.

C+. Was gonna be a B-, but then I remembered the Cal game. I know thats not all on him, but hes the leader of this offense and he, as the leader, can NOT let that happen.

C+/B-, although I voted C. He definitely has room for improvement but has been a solid B with the exception of the Cal game.

C

Which is pretty consistent with his time as a starter and the skill set he has. When all is said and done I see him as a (B) QB with or without Hawkins at the helm. Good kid, good fire, not a premier talent.

He would be doing better if our coaches knew how to use him correctly. I think he is doing pretty well considering he is carrying around that sizable coaching albatross.

I agree. I think if he were at Nebraska he would be putting up similar numbers to Martinez. Maybe not heisman numbers but he would look a lot better than he does here.

Hard to vote Hansen above a C with two shutouts this season. Think about that.

You're really going to put that all on his shoulders? OL needs to block. RBs need to hit holes and make plays. Not much TH can do when the rushing game is completely shut down and the opposing defense can tee off on the QB.

The Buffs had 75 yards rushing against Cal (42 rushes for a 1.8 ypc average) and 61 yards rushing against Mizzou (26 rushes for a 2.3 ypc average).

This team needs to run to be effective on offense. That much is crystal clear at this point.

C. He has shown flashes. His best game was UGA. I would like to see him run more like he did last year. His two road games have looked horrible, but I don't think it's all his fault.

That's a big change from last Saturday.
I thought he played crappy Saturday. What can I say? But he's still our best option. I thought he was indecisive. Way different than the Gerogia game.

And, for sure, I was caught up in the emotion of the game. The disappointment. So ****ing shoot me.

C+

For a guy who just started his 14th game overall, I think Hansen is gradually getting there. He seems to be getting better with the internal clock and can make plays with his feet. The one thing that is holding Hansen back is he tends to be inaccurate on some easy throws, which can affect the rhythm of the offense.

C+ / B-

Had some moments, playcalling not helping him out sometimes. WRs dropping some balls, but he has also missed some open WRs.

CSU: B
Cal: D
Hawaii: 1st half: D 2nd half: B
Georgia: A
Mizzou: C

Pretty inconsistent.

Kind of like trying to do teacher evals: is it the teacher or the kids? taking into account the lack of coaching, I give him a C+, but he has higher potential.

A
Potential to be one of the best CU QBs. Plays with a lot of heart, natural leader.
