Interesting Schedule had we stayed in 2011

Just took a look at the latest Platitudes and Dave was asked if we had stayed in the Big12 for another year, what the schedule was.
Home against K-State, Baylor, Missouri, Okie State
Road against Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
No game against Iowa State whom we have played since the old Big8 days.

Obviously the Big12 did not have our best interest at heart. Crummy home schedule with some tough road trips.

Boy does it feel good to move on.

Wow, they were going to **** us in the ass with four road trips to Texas. **** them, I hope they enjoy the two years of **** before it disintegrates all the way.

When did The State of Texas annex the State of Oklahoma?

Don't tell me about US Geography! As an aside, I did fail geography freshman year of High School when I didn't turn in a final paper...

That would have been a ****ing brutal schedule. Add in a roadie to Ohio State and I think the Buffs could safely lock up the toughest schedule in the country right there.

We did, we actually are playing Kansas on the road this year also. Big12 just wanted to stick it to us.

It's so dumb to play consecutive years in the same building. Baylor and K-State would've came here in '10 and '11?? The Big Ten sometimes does this stuff too.

I find that hilarious....

I would have pulled that **** If I were the boss!!!!

Well, Oklahoma is really the largest COUNTY in Texas. We're Texas, Jr., here, so it makes sense.

I actually make the comparison that Oklahoma is East Germany (backward, poor, bad infrastructure) to Texas' West Germany (modern, big businesses, flush with cash). lol

This kind of makes me feel sorry for Okie Lite, KjSU, KU, MU, ISU and Baylor. They are all going to get it, w/o lube over the next few years from the big three, well, maybe not from aTm since they are saddled with Mike Sherman, but either way, it will not be pretty for the have nots of the Mack 10.....

Man, that's an understatement. The Little 7 are going to get fewer home games, less conference money, all on top of getting shellacked on the field regularly. Having to play OU and UT every year will make it awfully tough to ever make noise in that conference.

Do you think Deloss Dodds will be the one to decide which games are picked up by Fox and which are picked up nationally? Thereby further increasing the payout to UT, ATM and OU. The have-nots in the Texas 10 are going to get doubly screwed in terms of money and exposure.

Mizzou deserves everything that comes their way, because A.) **** them for beating us lately, and B.) they openly flirted with leaving the conference, only to be denied.

Mizzou deserves it, and so to OU and aTm because they could have left and chose to stay. The other 6 teams are at the mercy of Texas and you can bet your ass they are doing everything they can to get the **** out of that conference as soon as possible. I don't know what options they will have, though. It's still better to be Texas' bitch than to be in the MWC.
