OU game to kick off at 7.15pm, televised on ESPN

I'm always happy to be able to watch us play, but this is gonna be ugly. I'll just make sure I have ample beer and whiskey on hand..

when did ESPN begin televising trainwrecks....

Since Toledo. Its schadenfreude. They know how awesome it is to live in Colorado so they have to show the things that break our hearts for everyone to see.

I can see us winning that game and then following it up by losing at Kansas the next week. Hawkins always seems to pull 1 game out of his ass every year and then go into the tank.

One bennefit. Being embarrassed on National TV may be the last straw that pushes the admin to make a mid season move. Just sayin.

damn! It will be on the same time as game 6 of the World Series!

Seems sort of fitting.

I remember a game in 1994, in Boulder, when Colorado absolutely throttled Oklahoma 45-7, in a night game which was televised by ESPN. That game spelled the end for OU's coach, Gary Gibbs.

I don't remember that game because I was **** ing wasted. BUt I know I had fun!

Salaam went ****ing wild in that game, scorign like 4 TD's in the first half. OU also scored their only TD with less than a minute left in the game.

Then they hired Howard Schnellenberger.

In the last few years I've really learned to value those last minute offensive explosions.
