When is it at least announced that Hawkins won't be back next season?

If not outright fired.

Sorry guys, don't know how to do a poll...or even sure if I can.

My guess is that it is announced after loss #5. Bohn will come out and announce he had told Hawk that 8 regular season wins was the minimum standard. Hope its sooner, but that is my non emotional estimate.

If they do it early, I'm willing to bet it will be after the Presidents and Chancellors meet to approve/vote on the revenue sharing and the conference alignments.
If CU knows where they stand conference wise, it might make for an easier sell to the regents to authorize a search.

They haven't fired him yet. At this point my guess is they plan to have him coach out the remainder of his contract. Then give him an extension.

They will announce something as soon as we are officially eliminated from a bowl game. Right now D2D is busy on his knees telling Benson that he could win 7-8 games and get a good bowl game invite.

dude that is brilliant a firing announcement pool, kinda of like the day a kid will be born.

At this point I almost hope they wait until the end of the season, so I can believe that this has been the plan all season. If they fire him a couple weeks from now I'll be really disappointed that they were willing to make a mid-season change but waited so f**king long.

I think if CU loses to Tech this weekend, and then gets pounded in Norman the following weekend, there is a chance that Hawkins will be terminated the following day - with Keisau taking over as interim coach for the remainder of the season.

Every Monday at work i constantly check ESPN, AllBuffs, the Boulder papers waiting for the announcement..... one of these days it will come.

I wish they would fire his dumbass today, but this ^^^ is probably how it will play out.

In the unlikely event we become bowl eligible this might stay under wraps as it might hurt our selection and cost cu some money. Tho I dont see any bowl touching us unless we get up to 7 wins.
