We've never had a commissioner with the kind of foresight and leadership abilities this guy has. Seriously. I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I'm very comfortable with the future of the Pac 12 in his hands.

did he do something else today?

Or put us in a division with Cal, Stanford, USC, UCLA and Utah :smile2:

I am sure others are noticing as well. I just hope he sticks around for a while.

I don't think the division stuff has been finalized yet, but that seems to be the conclusion that has been drawn. It can't be easy to deal with 12 different institutions that often work at cross purposes. He manages to keep everybody going in the same direction to the benefit of everybody involved, though. Quite the impressive accomplishment, if you ask me.

They don't work at cross purposes. That's why they wouldn't even consider Baylor.

Lets see what kind of tv deal he puts together first. If he can get us $20M/year, I'll buy him a beer.

That would be in addition to the incremental hike in the monthly subscriber fee paid to your TV provider.

Fair enough. But let me ask you this: Has he done anything so far that would indicate to you that he's not going to get the conference the best possible deal?

larry needs to deliver the $$$.

i believe he will.

the entire conference is a fantastic upgrade for us, across the board. the number of inbred, semi-literate, mouth-breathing, troglodyte fans, and manipulative, bullying, evil administrators, and head-in-the-sand and look the other way academics has been dramatically reduced.

usc may cheat, for example, but at least they aren't a bunch of dumbasses. the ratio of dumbasses to intelligent persons in the b12 has always been my biggest beef with the conference.

Now if we could all just live by THAT standard, the world would be free of Nebrassholes and a better place
