From an April update on Rivals: A tall and speedy corner with great feet. Jackson has good acceleration and closes on the ball quickly in the run game. He has a great frame and good hips in coverage. He has the ability to press or play off and has a good feel for the zone. Among all players, Jackson is the biggest potential sleeper in the defensive backfield and he could also emerge as a top receiving threat as a senior.

From a May update on Rivals: An elite track athlete, Jackson has the speed and skill to be considered the top defensive prospect in the state next season. A physical player that isn't afraid to make a hit, he is a corner that could be considered an elite must have player this recruiting cycle. In the one-on-ones, Jackson showed good awareness and quickness with smooth hips in coverage. He has the speed match up with any receiver in the country.

Jackson is likely to wait until after his season to go on visits or make a commitment.

"I'm still very interested in Colorado," Jackson told Buffstampede.com. "I've watched a lot of Colorado games, and I like the unity I see on the team. When they're down, they pull together. I like a team that has a lot of composure."

It looks like we've got a very good chance of landing Jackson in this class.

Crappy football team but the atmosphere in their junior-league stadium is crazy supportive. For a bunch of folks who lose a LOT, their student section is awesome. No one bitchin'. No one booing. A fun environment to watch/play a game in, win (on the rare occasion) or lose (like nine weeks out of 10). Seriously, if I'm a kid looking to enjoy playing college ball instead of having the weight of god and everybody's brother every weekend, why not? In my book Logan beats Lincoln, Norman, Waco, Manhattan (KS), Lubbock or Ames any day.

Let me add I'd take their coach over CUs, too.

We're going to lose a lot of kids we're supposedly recruiting. The coaches aren't doing any active recruiting anymore, and all the recruits know that this staff is toast. Don't be surprised to see a lot more of this in the next few weeks.
