ultimately, the ass clown posse of surrender monkeys that is currently coaching at CU will be fired. maybe it will be soon, maybe it will be at the end of november. either way, they are done.

so, what can we expect? well, i expect that the move to the p12 will help us in a big way. new conference, more money down the road, better recruting, new enthusiasm. and, i do agree with woelk that there is more talent in the program returning than when the ass clown posse of surrender monkeys started. and, i believe that the university leadership wants to win again, which is a huge part of the equation.

we're going to win. it may take a few seasons to get back up to speed, but we are going to be good, very good, again.

don't forget the basics-- CU does have everything that money can't buy (skippy was right). with more dedication to the things that it takes to win, we will be back. this is not a place where winning is a pipe dream, it is a proven historical fact. we will be back.

these ****tards will be gone, no later than the end of november and the replacements will absolutely be an upgrade. this is not Mac trying to clean up the wreckage after fairbanks. it isn't hawkins after the recruting restrictions under GB. we will be positioned for success.

hang tough. shoulder to shoulder.

I'd love to believe you Liver, but I am sick of waiting. At this point I am pretty sure this administration would prefer our football program die.

At least they are successful at something because they are pretty much 95% there.

Wait. I posted with someone from here last week and they went on a diatribe claiming the administration doesn't put an emphasis on winning football games they are more dedicated to the "quality" education and if wins come great if not they are fine with it. Your coaches are tards but it sounds like, if poster was accurate, that it's more than just coaching it goes much deeper than that. I think the administration will put even more emphasis on education, going to PAC12, and you will not get better.

"CU does have everything that money can't buy"

That is 100% true, but top recruits don't care about those things. Top XC recruits do, and look at the results. World class runners, triathletes, skiers, mountin bikers, climbers all care about those things, but not top tier football players who are 17-18 years old from urban areas and rural areas in the south. You've got Bloom and not many more. Not too sure a lot of the recruits talk about epic powder days ahead of them at CU.

What is it exactly that the administration does that makes you think football should die? Should the university just spend millions to upgrade and pay millions to bring in coaches and players? The university DOES have a budget and they also have other things to do. I would not call us the best university for sports support, but we certainly are not the worst.

ok... someone was telling you their opinion.... and since you have a relationship with Nebraska... your opinion of us not getting better means very little.....

and besides..... your opinion of us not getting better while we are 16-35 over the past 51 games.... is downright ludicrous.... i mean... how can we be worse?

You sir, are an idot.

I understand they have a budget. At this point it appears the budget does not include football anymore. You do need to spend millions on facilities and coaches to compete (see late 80''s early '90's when Dal Ward was considered the gold standard). That is the reality of college football today.

I would not call us the best university for sports support, but we certainly are not the worst.

I am glad the university strives to be less than average.

First of all **** you because you are a husker. Second, I think you make a good point. What more do we need to see they dont give a ****? Guess the millions of dollars the football team could make wont help the education department. Im warming up to this Mac thing more and more. Then again, Im "Mr. Football" so I know allllllllllll.

You are the idiot. I make it clear, "if poster was accurate" which doesn't take his post as a matter of fact. Boards are mostly opionion, dipsh!t, duh. Wait a minute....are you on the coaching staff?

While most of the time this is true, CU has had some great players that came to Boulder because of the setting - Kordell Stewart comes to mind- he'd never seen snow before he came to CU. - Also part of the reason Alfred Williams came to CU was to get out of Texas.

CU will has an advantage over other schools with kids that are looking for something different and want to get out of their home town because of the setting and the campus -This is where CU can get recruits from. There are plenty of kids that don't mind going away from home. The main thing that is holding CU back right now is their record. Just look at UT when they were in the SWC - kids were leaving the state left and right to go to other big programs. It wasn't until UT got into the Big XII AND started winning that they started to win the recruiting battles.

Like Bobby Bowden said, "winning is contagious". Put a little bit of money into the facilities and start winning 7-8 games a year for a few years and CU can compete for athletes against anybody. Kids either want to be part of a program that is on the rise or is already dominating.

We will be back, we have been down and gotten up before, it will be no different this time. As coach Mac said abotu our move to the Pac-12, it's a BONANAZA!! Colorado is one of the greatest college football programs of all time, we WILL be back! And I fully expect to play Nebraska in the Rose bowl someday.

Someone from here thinks the 2000's was a lost decade for CU football.

Maybe DiStephano and Benson will emphasize football during this decade. Maybe they won't. We do know they would rather build an enormous medical center in Denver and have no urgency in putting the pieces together to be competitive in this conference. Jury's out on what they'll do in the next.

Other poster also says CorINbred is a troll, a dolt, and has the wit of a highschooler.

I think you've forfeited your claim of being a great program after the last 6 years of losing seasons.

I think if you keep trying to be right at the expense of being entertaining or pleasant, you'll get the boot.

Rule #1: Know where you are posting.

No I am not on the coaching staff of CU Football. I do have friends that work at the university and I am privy to some information. I do know that the administration DOES care about CU Football and that there was a huge internal conflict about how to handle the allegations from 2001-2003 that the media BLEW out of proportion bigger than Lisa Simpsons mouth wrapped around the former CAL and Texas A & M players c0cks........

Unfortunately for the football fans, the PC crowd won for the time being....

but don't worry, CU cares enough about football that we will be back. I promise not to knock you off the ladder as you are coming down....

I am pretty sure that CU's Big 12 Championship is more recently that Nebraska's... but don't let facts get in the way of arguments...

I'm positive there's no confusion, as a body of work over the last 40 years, NU's football program is far superior to sCUm. Total wins, head to head, conference titles, National titles, fewer losing seasons, the list goes on and on. Those are the facts and a more recent win over a top 10 team or more recent conference championship doesn't trump sustained excellence. Just accept those facts and I'll accept sCUm is in beautiful country, you have great skiing and as a whole alot more going on than Nebr, more of the bad stuff as well.

Nobody is going to bargain with you. Don't care what you choose to accept. Don't care what you think.

Are you 40? How old were you last time Huskers won a national or conference championship?

I've seen CU win the B12 out right.
I was at CU when they won the National Championship.

Where were you when Nebraska mattered?

so now we go from 6 years.... to a body of work.... and then a proverbial acknowledgement that we have better skiing..... let me know your parameters of our next argument..... maybe you wanna compare the police blotter next.....

We will be back - all programs go through bad times. Remember right before Stoops, OU was getting bent over by everyone.

Whoopty doo, you were there. That don't mean sh!t...mark. You have a funny way of showing you don't care what I have to say or think, you continue to fall for the bait and reply.

I don't know you tell me? It's your buddies that want to use a few seasons in the 90's to claim sCUm is one of the reatest programs in college football.

I think you've forfeited your claim of being a great program after the last 6 years of losing seasons.

Well Nebraska must be a ****ty program too with all the 60 and 70 point beat downs you've taken at the hands of Colorado, Kansas and Texas Tech this decade.

I never said Colorado was as good as Nebraska. I said COlorado is among the greatest of all time. I consider the greatest to be in the top 25 in most categories and thats where CU is. Nebraska does have a better history than CU, but CU has a fine one itself finishing in the top 10 at least once in four different decades.

Not that you care, I agree with your assessment.
