CU has NO CHANCE of winning another game unless 3 things happen...

1. The OL and running game have to start running the god damn ball.

2. CU's DT'S AND SAFTIES have to quit being so soft.

3. Jalil brown and Clemons need to step up. Jalil is getting burned on a regular basis now and clemons has dropped a ton of balls.

Oh, almost forgot, Goodbye Dan.

It's pretty bad that we're arguing about being tied for the worst in the big 12, not THE actual worst in the big 12.

How far this program has fallen....

Part of the problem with the spread offense that is pretty much everyone in college football right now is that in order to run it, you need superior talent at the skill positions and more athletic type linemen. Well as we have found out here the past 4 years or so, if you don't have those skill position guys, and you don't have the big boys up front you can't even fall back on the most fundamental part of football: running the ball.

Hopefully the next guy that comes in here focuses on establishing a great core first. The key to that though, is we need someone with the moxie and ability to do that.

We will not win a single game with Cody Hawkins playing QB. Fact! He is just plain terrible.

He doesnt have the physical skills to compete at this level. I watched the Oregon USC game side by side with the Buffs and the 3 other QB's: Barkley, Jones, & Thomas are all so FAR superior in size, strength, and athletic ability that our whole offense breaks down. The announcers were right on.... the D loaded the box daring us to throw... and all Hawkins & Kieseau could do was try to throw....

Hawkins made a lot of mistakes here..... but it really all started with completely overestimating Cody's ability to play Division 1 football....

I think a win against Kansas would be a great tonic for this Buffs team. They need a win in the worst way. Fortunately for them, Kansas is perhaps in even worse shape.

A win against KU sets the stage for a nice finish. KSU is fading. Their offense is struggling and is very one-dimensional. Their defense is not overly impressive.

Wins against KU and KSU would make the ISU game pretty big, and ISU has certainly shown to be up and down this year.

We have to beat ISU first before kansas.

Yes, you are right. @ KU, home against ISU, home against KSU, @ Neb. My mistake.

I still think a win against KU is the key. If that game is lost, it is doubtful the Buffs will win again this season, IMO.

The buffs only hope is to beat KU, they will not win @ Neb. ISU and KU aren't really good but CU always seems to struggle vs isu. I know this, they had their chance vs baylor and tech at home and pissed them away, if they do it again vs isu and ku it will be ugly.

Just sack up and beat ku.

I think you guys have a decent shot at beating KU, they sound absolutely horrible from what I've heard. I haven't seen any of their games this season though. Depending on what ISU team shows up will decide whether you can win that game or not. I'm always cautious of the Buffs when we play you. You always "get up" for our game and with it being our last game together, there will be some emotion involved. KSU, I just don't know about.

Cody vs that defense? On the road?

To be fair, we were a longest FG in Nebraska history away from winning the last time in lincoln with COdy at QB. However, this is a different NU team, and we will be lucky to stay within 3 tds of NU.

True, but this team is even worse.
