Has gametime for the ISU game been announced yet?

I heard there was a possibility of getting the game on TV. If they do get the game on TV, it might be at a fringe time of day and broadcast on an obscure non-HD station that many cable and satellite companies don't carry. If it's an 11AM or 8PM kick-off, I'll be disappointed.

What does it say when they list Ralphie running as a highlight but not the football game?!

"COME SEE 30 SECONDS OF EXCITEMENT... Then stay for a mediocre football game"

Since DII is coaching this team through the rest of the year I am pretty sure even this will not be rock bottom.

and this is a ticket broker who got stuck with a bunch of tix, not the AD site. if it were the AD site with unsold tix, then....ouch. for Mike Bohn, these are sold tix.

but, it's pretty low for sure. like someone else said, you could get more value for 15-25$ outside the stadium half hour before kickoff.

My guess is these are ISU visitor seats, I thought the big12 traveled really well and we are going to the land of fair weather fans?

I think some of our veteran fans can help put things in perspective - wasn't there some bargain basement promotions during the Fairbanks era that trumps anything we're doing today? I thought I remembered hearing stories of 50c tickets or something in 1980...

probably a good guess on the returned visitor seats. ISU has a remote chance to be bowl eligible and this would be a must win for that scenario to happen. you'd think ISU fans would love to travel to Boulder, spend the weekend and have a real good shot to beat CU for the last time in conference. When i've been to the Big 8 and Big XII basketball tourney (once each) ISU fans travel great for that. of course, they were pretty both times i went.

Going to games as a kid in the early 80's unless CU was getting rolled by a Big8 power and all the visiting fans were in attendance you could walk into Folsom without a ticket about mid first quarter. We never even tried to buy tickets. Would have mom drop us off and pick us up at Crossroads mall after the game.

Did you get an Orange Julius at the mall? I used to love those things.

they were good for you, too! oranges....

i, too, used to go to games at the CEC with my buds. they'd let you walk in after about 10 minutes. but, those were different times. Folsom was generally unlocked....you could walk right in pretty much all the time and lie down on the 50 yard line. we used to play football and (bad idea) baseball on the turf....did get booted once for riding our bikes out there.

Orange Julius, and there was the arcade down by Montgomery Ward. Rep for anyone that remembers the name of the arcade.

Playing football in Folsom was the best. There would always be 3-4 games going, with everyone playing sideline to sideline. The crown on the field was crazy, and the rug burn from the turf was the worst, but it was allsome getting to wear the original turf shoes with all the little rubber bumps on them. I did see one guy go head first into the concrete wall on the West sideline.

The Nike Mako shark. My favorite shoe growing up.

dont know about returned ISU tickets for the CU game.. do know LB and I picked up a "groupon" for the TCU/AF game for the same savings. Seats were betwee the 10 & 15 yard line....

i had some Pony turf shoes. they were pretty sharp....we wore them to school and stuff, to be cool/look like dorks. the rug burn was evil bad. if got a good one, you could plow through a tube of neosporin (sp?) like nothing. still would hurt.

Does a "groupon" help stop the bleeding? 'Cause we could totally use one of those.
