Please post your favorites games/memories from past Kansas games, trips to Lawrence, what you will miss about them, etc. Series record: Colorado leads 42-24-3, the series started in 1903 with a 12-11 loss in Boulder.

My favorite memory is going to the 1991 game. #14 Colorado won 30-24 in a complete snowstorm and a heart attack of a game. Kansas went up 10-3 with (Buff killer) Tony Sands providing the TD, but Lamont Warren threw a 48 yd TD to Charles Johnson to tie it at 10 at the half. I thought we'd blow then out in the 2nd half, but Kansas came right out and Chip Hillary threw 2 TDs to make it 24-10 Jayhawks. The Buffs KO return team coughed up the ball after it was 17-10 (short field for Kansas) and then again after they made it 24-10, but the Buffs D held. Vance Joseph went to work, and the Buffs went 80 yards down 24-23 for the winning TD, Joesph to Westbrook.

My biggest KU memory was the snow bowl in 91. Not the coldest game, but probably the heaviest snow fall during a game in my lifetime. The tractors couldn't keep the snow off and you couldn't tell the yard markers. Vance Joseph rallied us from behind.

**** kansas.

That's your answer to everything.

No, seriously folks, it is. I've had dinner with 96 and his family more times than either of us can count.

Buffsoldier: "Can you pass the potatoes?"
96: "**** Kansas."
Buffsoldier: "O.k."

Ya didn't say "please"!!

talk about the talent Mac had. Lamont Warren leaves early, gets carries right off the bat in the NFL, has a nice NFL career.... but was going to be #2 behind Salaam at CU.

Vance Joseph-- excellent athlete!!

Ya know...I think he's still coaching DBs in San Francisco, haven't heard his name for a position on the next staff... (seems like we've heard every other CU player from that period). But VJ's got some nice coaching experience

Snowiest game in 1991 was about 2 weeks after the coldest game in 1991.... the Nebraska game was -19 degrees that year and they were only a few weeks a part...

what a freshman year (1991) for games....

lost to Baylor
really cold Nebraska
really snowy home finale....

And don't forget a 55-0 drubbing of Minnesota - Kordell's debut, among other niceties

He left on not such good terms if memory serves. Sleeping with a student or something like that was the rumor.
