Boycott Until Hawk is Gone

I've been boycotting all year. I didn't renew my tickets and will not get them again until CU has a new coach.

Wonder what the game will look like next week. Even the ticket deals might not be enough

Yep same here. If you are watching Bohn, I will come to both of the final home games as long as Hawkins is no longer walking our sacred sidelines.

I'm going to the tailgate. Just so I can talk to bohn when he comes by... the game... I dunno.

If HaLk is our coach next weekend....I will stay in the parking lot & listen on the radio...and I may need to bust out the powder blue track suit again

This is worst than 70-3 atleast we had a winning season then.

Have not been all year and wont untill he is gone.

Just told the wife we are not going next 2 weeks if D2 is still here. I just can't believe what just happened. these will be the 1st games in 22 years that I will refuse to go to. Have only missed 6 game in all of those years and that is because my son's games were played at the same time.

Thats a tough call to make..... I know I did it recently too. I had not missed a game from 1988 til this last year. But I have missed several the last 2 years and I couldn't care less..... Hawk has destroyed my love for this program. Until Hawk is gone I refuse to donate or attend any games.

I didn't buy tix this year, no donations to the AD or the biz school, no purchase of Buffstv, no auction bids, no merch purchased. I stand by the decision.

Hate to say it, but this program is getting everything it deserves are not canning Hawk after last season. I'm not afraid to tell it like it is.

my last game was Georgia on my 30th birthday. I have season tickets and travel from Omaha. After the Mizzou game i was done. I wasnt going to buy my tix this year but my parents convinced me. i have sold all my tickets after Georgia. I still have ISU and KSU for sale but i will eat those tickets if i have to. i am not returning to another game until this freak show is over. I have only had season tickets for 7 or 8 years but enough is enough.

I AM DONE!

I have been using the games this year to hang out with my friends who go to CU when I'm at UCD but none of us want to go anymore. Maybe I'll get plastered in the room and go to the game so I don't have to witness another ass rape.

An empty stadium would send a message to the AD

And it would be pretty awesome to see such an expression of fan solidarity.
It seems obvious the powers to be aren't paying attention to any other statements the fans have attempted to make.

To me this would actually show support for the programs heritage, that the fans won't support or tolerate an inferior product anymore.

It would be pretty remarkable, but it won't happen. I predict 40k to 45k will attend. Still pretty meager.

 OK, I'll bite. I cannot believe anyone does not understand or believe that Bohn and the admin don't "get it." They get it. They want him gone just as much as any of us. So, whats the point of boycotting? Is it so that when the inevitable firing happens, you can past yourselves on the back and take credit? There is no point in boycotting. The admin gets it. Everything is in the works. At best, a boycott would protest what has already occurred. Like, "don't ever do this to us again." But the firing and hiring a new staff is already happening.

Does anyone have any great tix they want to give me? I'd much rather sit in folsom than go shopping with the wife on a Saturday afternoon.

I've never sat in the lower sections. Can't afford it. Anyone not planning on using those tix can send me a PM! :smile2:

You know what? A suite ticket would be even better. I'd love to hobnob with the hoity toity boosters in the suites. Beer me!

If they got it, Dan Hawkins would have been left in Lawrence. He's a disgrace who is embarrassing the program and whose very presence on the sideline is a slap in the face to everyone who supports CU.

Mike Bohn should be fired for extending the moron and not having the guts to pull the trigger on firing him.

Boycott if you want, but I'm not missing the season's last Sackygate.

And for KSU, I'm not missing our last Big 12 home game.

Its amazing how easy it is to be the "AD" when you are on the outside looking in. I didn't hear a huge uproar when Hawkins was extended. Bohn would have fired him last year but was over ruled for reasons that go way beyond what you think.
