usually, when a coach gets whacked, i feel badly for him on a personal level. it is a tough job and it rarely ends well.

i wonder if i will find any empathy in my soul for hawkins when he is terminated?

because, as of right now, i can't fathom feeling anything other than pure relief.

he wanted them throwing in the 4th because he wanted to run up the score? seriously? this ****ing guy is a ****ing clown. if he ever works again at any major program in any position, it will be a ****ing miracle. he needs to turn in his coaching card. he's the worst i have ever, ever seen.

and, his merry band of surrender monkeys on the staff? unbelievable. if the riddler were any more clueless, he'd be receiving government assistance.

this tragi-comedy has to end. right now.

well, i made my posts about what i thought of the guy the other week. after that PC of his, well, i feel like i have been duped. i will feel no pitty nor remorse for what will happen to him now.

he had a chance to be a man today and be an example for his kids on his team and he took the chicken **** way out. as i said, the man is getting a mil plus a year. ****ing man up and take the heat. i dont give a damn if you know you are gone or not. you still owe the fans an explanation.

Bull****! Why feel sorry for someone that makes millions running a program into the dirt? I could do that too!

I can't think of a single reason for continuing to throw the ball in the 4th with a 28 point lead other than to pad Cody's stats. Sorry, but what else could it be?

I have no pity or remorse because the ****er still blames everyone but himself for his failures. I heard so many times from sports reporters how he was doing such a great job despite the conditions at Colorado. You don't hear that much anymore because they now no that he is nothing but a con artist. He has stolen millions from the University of Colorado. **** him **** the BSU bronco that he rode in on.

I sometimes have a lot of sympathy for fired coaches that have worked hard but have come up short, but DH came in here with his hubris and his bull****, anointing CH as a long term starter and throwing a lot of GB's players under the bus. So screw him, his lousy karma is knocking at the door.

exactly.. Hawk is a **** face. I could give a **** about him and his incompetent coaching staff. We keep score in Div 1 football, This ain't intramurals brother

Of course I will feel bad for him and his family on a personal level, I hate for anyone to get fired, I bought in to his kool-aid those first two years. I loved the intramurals speech, I loved him threatening the student body before the Nebraska game, but enough is enough, I wish him well but we need to do something different right now. CU needs to let high school football players know they are serious about football and they need to let us fans know they are serious about football. I would have loved to have seen a scenario where Hawkins could ride into the sunset with his son at his side, but at this point I almost wonder if it would be a relief to his son to let someone else take over right now?

I agree. I feel no pity for him. I just wish he'd go. I'm tired of looking at him or listening to him. Uhhh

His actions in the 4th quarter were so inexplicable it makes me wonder if he threw (no pun intended) the game. If Woelk is right and the Bohn presser is to announce his firing, why let him coach out the season? Have Cabral finish up the year and then make the RIGHT move.

Not me - he got rich off our backs, and gave nothing in return. Notice that RichRod's job was on the line and he replaced his whole staff. Hawkins? Nothing, nada, same old bullsh!t defining insanity. No feelings for him whatsoever except the negative ones he's earned.
