Time To Stop Thinking That Les Miles Is CU's Next HC

LSU not only beat their rival but also the evil ex-coach.
All is right in the Red Stick tonight and Les will be going nowhere.

Let's just hope Logan & Calhoun keep their current jobs too.

I'm rooting for AF to run the table, be invited to a New Years day bowl, and have the AD for the academy publicly state that he will not grant permission for anyone to talk to Calhoun about a job.

Logan should run for Mayor

I liked the unanimous booing by the LSU fans today after an illegal formation penalty. Imagine the heat Dan would be taking down there after the last 5 years..

Les Miles will be at LSU as long as he wants to be. The athletic director loves him as does the administration. Only way Les comes to CU is if he gets sick of the BS he gets from LSU fans and wants a fresh start somewhere.

You expected them to beat UF and Bama?

No, you can correct me if I'm wrong and dig up the thread, but my argument I believe was that everybody was saying for sure that Miles was out. I was arguing that IF he continued to win (they were undefeated at the time), then he wasn't going anywhere, they would keep him. LSU is a good team, right in the mix of the national title hunt in the last month of the regular season. Do you still think he will be fired?

LSU has a history of loyalty to it's coaches. I will say this - and I never thought I would - Miles out coached Saban. I do think Saban will leave Bama before Miles leaves LSU.

Not after beating Bama. Can't take anything away from Les after that.

You relax, i've heard this **** all before and nothing.

I'm am relaxed, the nightmare is over.

Ok then, that goes back to my argument, you seemed to think I was crazy for saying they would keep him IF he continued to win. Beating Bama and about to be a possible top 5 team is continuing winning.

I thought you said LSU wasn't very good and that they were over rated.

Les is a good coach. His clock management is laughable (especially the timeout in the 2nd half on 4th and 4 to set up a FG was just hilarious) but he runs the rest of the football program very well. He's won at Okie State and now at LSU. The guy knows how to run a program.

LSU has a great chance of getting a BCS at large bid especially if Auburn wins the SEC. That will be 3 BCS berths for Miles in what 6 years? That's pretty damn good.

Sorry, firing him after the nebraska game doesn't cut it. By Monday...

The seasons lost. To be honest, as long as he is not here next year I'm fine.

Maybe you should stop being a fan if he's not fired by Monday, because it's not gonna happen I can tell you that. I can tell you he will be fired after Nebraska and thats fine with me. I would like to see him fired now, but it wont happen. So no need to get worked up about it.

I have said that too. I think you are missing the IF part in there. And Miles is doing the IF part. I thought LSU was a mediocre team up until today.
Good enough for me. I haven't heard anything from Bama Charlie today - where is he hiding?

Why would I stop being a fan? EVERYONE is worked up about it, read the damn board. Because it's fine with you? Great. It's not fine by many. Maybe it's time people up at CU get worked up about it.

He's got alot of crtics, including myself, but one thing he does is win - so who cares if he does things that drive you crazy as a fan. They showed him on the side lines when LSU got penalized for delay of game just after the fake punt. He had no -uck8ng idea the play clock had run out. He's a trip - that's for sure.

sorry get worked up all you want, a firing is not coming as soon as you want.

Thanks, I will get fired up for what MANY want. You and BOHN make a good team.

Believe me I want him gone as much as everybody else. It just is not gonna happen right now. I sent Bohn an email on why he should fire Hawk RIGHT NOW and haven't even gotten a reply. I am upset too, but theres really nothing we can do about it. There is something Bohn can do about it, he needed to fire Dan like after Montana state.

Sorry, i'm pretty pissed like everyone else right now but can't see why he would keep him for another second. I just don't get his thinking.

You never know what you get from CLM. Today you got a physical team that played smart and made few mistakes and didn't need to comeback to win. I still think he is more lucky to be at LSU than LSU is lucky to have him.

LSU has as much talent as any team in the nation-they just don't normally play as well as they could.
