We all know hawkins controlled everything, so saturday are we going to see kiesau's play calling or have we been seeing it already this year im hoping we havent seen it yet.

Will collins be more aggresive?.

riddle is still here so we know how that will go.

With a defensive position coach running the show I would expect to see more running and less passing.

I don't expect too much. we are who we are. you can take hawk out of boulder but you can't take the hawk out of the team....takes time folks

i dont think we throw 50 times or atleast i hope we dont.
i would love to see more man-man and blitzing on defense but who knows.

I think the team will be allowed to be much more emotional and play a little loser because of that. Hopefully Cabral's toughness rubs off quickly on the o-line and they smash people in the mouth early and often.

I think they will be told to forget about the little things and go punch someone in the mouth.

So just a hypothetical here, what if Cabral goes out and wins these next 3 games and goes on and wins a bowl game? Slim chance? Yes. Out of the realm of possibility, depends if you're a glass half full or half empty kind of guy. Would that have more head coach talk heat up between them?

I would expect that the staff will go out of there way to maintain consistency this week. If anything, they will err on the side of being conservative. I doubt we'll see any crazyass 2pt conversions or onside kicks.

My prediction would be conservative. But what I would love to see is them come out aggressive, with aggressive play calling. Unpredictability. Open the playbook, throw in the flea flicker and the hook and lateral and do it early! Even onside kick at first opportunity!

Run the football with a fullback lead blocker. Put Solder in at Fullback for a couple of plays. They'd never find speedy running behind Solder! LOL Ok it's a little bit crazy.

Since we haven't seen Cabral call a game yet, it's hard to say, but if I had to guess, I think we'll see a conservative, defensive-minded game plan, depending on the run, field-position game (no going for it on 4th down at our own 40), with maybe a little flair defensively, but not much. I am guessing that this fits Cabral's personality, but also it makes sense considering what the kids have gone through this week. No sense in trying to overload them too much. If we win this game, it will be because Cabral and the rest of coaching staff does a good job of focusing the kids' emotions.

So you want to see us go for 2 after the first touchdown?

Lol ! Didn't say go for 2.
But I do like exciting football. Young men still get excited when you call a so called trick play, it is a risk for sure, but if it works it excites them and it shows them that as a coach you are trying to win it too! They turn up their level of play.

Of course if it fails... your screwed! But it's just sports psychology.

How can it not heat up?

Maybe we will see two TE & two FB sets. Power football!!!

We will CRUSH the lil' red birds from Ick-ow-ah!

its been eric play calling my man. dan getting fired means eric goes to. thats why i happier than ever.

I would hope on the defensive side that we pressure all game and not sit back.
would love to see some power football and let the line knock people off the ball
Old time buff football beating people up

I would definitely like to see us come out with more emotion and would LOVE to see us be the aggressor in this game - punch them in the ***ing mouth!!!!!

I am interested to see if there is any difference in play calling on offense. Have heard both ways that Hawk interfered and that he didn't. We'll see.

Also have no insight into Cabral's relationship with Collins - but will be watching the defense to see if there are any noticeable changes.
