New rumor for you

i highly doubt this is true. but even if it is, i don't want an nfl coach. they almost never transition into good college coaches. pete carroll did it and who else? i literally can't think of another one

seriously ??

I say no thank you as that's what Kubiak did to CU when he first said yes and then turned them down.

I hope we get him to accept the position, but then revoke the offer at the last minute and go in a different direction.

Hmmmmmmmmm, problem with the NFL guys is that by my count 24 of 32 are currently very much in the picture for a playoff spot. Crazy NFL season so far.

The jury still seems to be out on Kubiak in Houston. He hasn´t been terrible and he hasn´t been good ... he´s always right on the bubble, but has always come up short so far.

ugh. Kubiak interests me not....and the second Mike Sherman leaves/ gets the boot at aTm, Kube will slobbering to leave Boulder for Collie Station....

Is this the same Gary Kubiak who accepted the CU job after Neuheisel then chicken ****ted out at the last second leaving CU scrambling? That Gary Kubiak?

I don't want Kubes anyway, for reasons previously posted, but why would anyone think he'd leave Houston for CU anyway?

eATMe is having a pretty good year with an ex NFLer

You guys are nuts, Kubes would be great at CU. I can think of a few others that I would prefer but we would be fortunate to get him. Turning us down for an NFL job in your hometown is understandable.

Kubes would be a great fit for Denver. Has some WC connections, runs a physical grind it out offense, and he's from Texas. What's not to love? I think it makes sense as I think his kid's still up the road at CSU.

I want a coach who can attract and develop QB talent. Kubiak could do that.

But he seems like a stretch. After dealing with pros, he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who relishes sitting on sofas in the living rooms of high school kids.
