Texas 7 point dogs at home

It warms the heart. This reminds me, I need to run over to Shaggy to regain my "misery loves company" glow. It's been a few days.

Okie Light -7

I've been on this line since it came out early Monday morning.

I just can't see Okie Light not beating this UT team by 3-4 touchdowns this weekend.

I know Texas has played very well historically against OSU, but this Texas team plays for **** at home. I'm still having a hard time believing this line is so low.

Anybody have any thoughts on this?

OSU chokes often. While they are a better team, I would be a little cautious on the 3-4 touchdown win prognostication.

but he doesn't need 3-4 TD's he just needs one.

OSU is a good bet here. not saying it happens, and history is against the pokes, but that's why they call it wagering.

I have a feeling Texas wins.
Don't underestimate our suckitude. OSU typically falls apart when playing UT, but if Gilbert keeps throwing pics then we lose by a lot, plus we can't run the ball. No outcome would suprise me. Texas has enough talent to come out of nowhere and lay down a great game, but so far that isn't happening. No way I would bet on this game.

I promise to not underestimate your suckitude. Deal?

Texas has not played that bad at home this year. They have played much worse on the road. The only home game that didn't come down to the end was the UCLA game, where Texas had about 5 turnovers in the first half, got out of the game and didn't even show up in the second half. The line is actually a little high in my opinion.

Uhhh texass has gotten spanked at home by baylor and ucla. They suck equally no matter where they are.

Except at Lincoln, where they're awesome.

In Big XII play they've beat nebraska nine times in 10 attempts.

What road games? You have left the state twice.

why does the ncaa let teams schedule 8 home games why not make it 6 and 6 and get a true national champion. that way we dont have to watch the buckeyes lose another national championship game.

Dude. Three words - Baylor, Iowa State.
I saw the pain on your face during the UT-Baylor game when you didn't have the CU sack on your head. And UT scored late to make ISU look close.
Going to the UT-OSU game this weekend as a Veterans' appreciation deal, it's going to be interesting to watch. If OSU doesn't stick their head in the sand like they normally do against UT, it's going to get ugly.
UT honestly looks as lost on offense right now as CU has the last two years.

You seem very focused on this playing in state thing. Texas is a very big state in terms of geography and population, if you didn't know. Lots of schools, lots of people, lots of land. Playing OU in Dallas is not exactly a cakewalk, plus Dallas is closer to Norman than it is to Austin. Playing in Lubbock or College Station is not exactly home field advantage for Texas. If you look at distance traveled for our road games it's probalby not much different than any SEC game.

UT has seven home games in Austin, same as Nebraska. Ohio State plays 8 games in the shoe. Very common for big money programs.

Haven't beaten Texas since '97. They blew a 35-7 lead to Texas in '04 and lost 56-35 (very CU/KU-esque) and I believe in '07 they blew another huge lead to lose 38-35. That said, they're the better team and should win this one
