The Cabral talk is going to happen but no matter what happens in these next 2/3 games they should not weigh at all on who the next coach is. The media and people wanting to stir up something will use it to make a story and create waves but really, CU needs a guy that can be the face of the program and someone who will make people want to go out and buy tickets to see. I just don't see Cabral filling that role.

As for the rest of the year, these kids are going to play with alot of emotion, and I have a gut feeling we can win out which will make for lots more Cabral "talk".

Like I mentioned before, the Buffs need an attitude adjustment. Cabral as HC could do that. He has an uncompromising quality that is effective in coaching. Once again, not the only guy, but he is a guy that has it. He put in for HC when hawk was hired. I don't know if he wants it full time now.

I don't doubt it. Just had not read anything to that effect. I wouldn't complain about it.

At the Hawk firing press conference a reporter asked Cabral f he was interested in being the head coach full time. He answered "yes".

At the press conference where Hawkins was fired and Cabral was named interim head coach, a reporter asked him if he wanted to be the permanent head coaching position. His response was a quick "Yes, sir."

Chipwich wins for punctuality, but Slade takes the overall victory because of spelling and accuracy.

That's only a five year penalty not a forfeit of the game. I kinda like guys who get flagged for false start sometimes

I like Cabral but I think it is essential that CU make a big splash with our next hire.

I think all of these guys are available.
