If we play like we did today. KSU is beatabale here, and NU struggled with ISU and they are only up 14-0 at half against KU.

I really think we have a decent chance at winning out. Loved seeing the emotion today. It was a fun game to watch!

GO BUFFS!!!

To win out, cu better bring the run defense the next 2 weeks and our OL had better run block much better than what they did today.

Once again you tell it like it ain't. Nebraska gave up 88 total yards to KU and ran a core of 8 plays today.

Winning, our last game in the Big XII Conference, in Nebraska. The Big XII Colorado/Nebraska final farewell. If I can have that for Christmas this year - I'd have a great 2010 present. Buffs Baby!

I think CU gave up about 88 KU yards until the fourth quarter collapse. And besides, I'm sure you know that the whole team/triangle comparison thing isn't viable. We held ISU to 14 points, nebraska gave up more. It means nothing.

Did you guys see the Rex and Helu show v. KU today? Our D would have to play lights out AND tackle to slow those guys down. Throw Martinez into the mix.

And really, I'm not convinced we're victorious against KSU. I'd love it if we were, of course.

But watching ISU yesterday, I just got the feeling they never got off the bus. Do they not have an O-line at all??

Isu didn't have an O-line today and as far as run blocking,CU didn't either.

Nebraska won't be same team the rest of the year. It's evident Martinez isn't 100% healthy and won't be the threat he was earlier this season. This game is a lot more winnable then it was.

Oh yea I really am touched by the love letter you wrote me.

LOL! Unleash I respect your opinion and comments. It's good to see some fire around here.

Just so happens Walrus is the only one to see things how it really is. Not sure what really happened in Boulder vs ISU. They really have a good team and may have spent to much emotional energy with the NU loss. But none the less, they should have came to yesterdays game ready to play. There was so much at stake for them.

As for the CU - NU game. It's going to be one last great one. NU "should" take it walking away, but that's not the way it works with this series the last 10-15 years. Nebraska has 3 QB's dinged up and Martinez was only about 80% last night. The offensive scheme was planned, and for the most part, executed accordingly. By the time the CU - NU game rolls around, he will be near to 90-95% if not 100%. Pelini has the defense playing lights out and that's all to say about the D.

Oh, and just for old times sake. After next weeks game is in the books; You all can call me a "dumb ***** Fusker", complain about Lincoln, and generally trash anything Nebraska. And I get go brag about being a Nebraska fan who we all know has "The Best Fans In The Country".

One thing for sure. One team is going to get to put the "last" regular season game WIN in the books. And we all know which team that is going to be!

Good Luck in the 12-Pac!

Leash - that is some mighty fine work my friend! Keep up the good work. :smile2:

We'll see what happens this week with the renewed spirit in in Boulder, but I have a good feeling that the Buffs will show up in Lincoln. Should be a fun final meeting.

It's funny how people, like NU fans expect to know how 18-23 year olds will play in their games. They're about as predictable as, well I can't think of an example, it's too early. CU has a good chance to win out with how the series has been going since 1990. Most of NU's wins over CU came during the low point of the program, which was 20 years in a row I think.

**** all you m-fers! We're gonna beat your asses! :smile2:

Now that I got that out of my system. Leash you confuse the hell out of me, you've been bi-polar all season. One minute you say NU is outstanding and there is no way the Buffs will beat us, then the next minute we suck and you're gonna beat us, then the next minute...........well you get the point. My head is spinning with these up and down emotions, just be pissed off, I'm used to that.

Mrs. 'Leash is pregnant. The dude is on a hormone-induced emotional rollercoaster. Cut him some slack.

Cut leash some slack. There is some Husker blood in his genes.

He sometimes has a hard time repressing his true feelings.
