One thing that I would like to see on offense...

Giving Stewart a little bit more rest every now and then. 36 carries is pushing the threshold, plus he was putting the ball on the ground yesterday.

Jefferson and Hildreth should be seeing more carries, no?

Absolutely. I love the running game - but good grief you can't expect a 175 lbs running back to carry the ball 36 times!!

I loved seeing all the pulling and everything - there was definitely a commitment to the running game. Would like to see Jefferson and Quentin Hildreth and even Corey Nabors get a few carries though!

Please don't kill me for saying this but I'd love to see P Rich on some end arounds.

That play were he juked like three guys and gained 50 yards was magical.

Jefferson looks good when he was in and Q looked real good i thought in the spring game. With us up 20 points why not put them in??!!

Agree, we hand the ball to him on first and second down, then dump it to him on third and 6. Rinse, repeat. When they showed up close shots of him, he looked exhausted. Let the kid take 2-3 plays off every 12 play drive. It'll be ok.........

how about prich in a wild cat pistol with cody behind him... with the threat of a run pass option?

My brother and I both were saying that they should be using P Rich in alot of capacities as he gets better. Run a wildcat with him, put him behind Cody at RB, line him up on the wing, in addition to WR. Get the ball in his hands as much as possible. 5 catches for 100+ is great, but get that ball in his hands 10+ times a game!

But on point of this topic, yes I wanted Jefferson in a bit more, especially on the clear running situations. I did not like them trying to run the clock down in the 4th by lining up in a 3 wide set--Iowa St just mauled them on the run blitzes. If everyone knows they gonna run, put two TEs and a fullback in IMO

I'm not trying to bag on cody but can you imagine a really good QB and P Rich? He might be a AJ Green type player in his freshman year. This kid is crazy good.
