Will MB get the HC decision right?...

Will MB get the HC hire right?...

Well, we won't know for a couple of years but, yeah, I think he will. But make no mistake, the coaches success is highly dependent on CU's commitment to winning. What do they say: A good manager sets his/her people up to succeed?

I voted:

No, he will have to put his "stamp" and,
No, he won't pick the obvious winner Mac.

I am letting all the rumors get to me. I am beginning to think he is going to mess this hire up.

I hear you. I hope he does the right thing but I doubt it.

i voted for all of them because basically we wont know if he got the hire right until about 2 years from now.

Pigs love acorns. They hate pecans.

i'm just the opposite.

looked it up, pigs DO like acorns. how can i go through life for 35 years and not know things like this? like lanyard is the name of the thing you wear around your neck with a keyring on it. i didn't know that was what that was called until last summer.

Lets remember that not many people thought that Bohn got it wrong with Hawkins. That decision is more questionable in hindsight, although the lack of depth in the search was pointed out at the time. I think Bohn has done ok with the other hires, even when they have not worked out perfectly. I am inclined to give him another chance to get this one right.

pigs like eating anything. that's why they are pigs. they will even eat each other and according to grapes of wrath, enjoy eating tasty human babies

There is only so much MB can do, I think he made an excellent hire in Hawkins at the time, he was a very sought after coach and it was a big hire....at the time. I do think this go-around he needs to pay more attention to a coaches ability to coach BSC level football and the kind of schemes he is bringing.

How can anyone say there is a definite "right thing" this early in the process? There are no sure things in hiring a coach, even hiring a legend in the program. Right now, I'm still hoping there is a real process and not just going after a single person.

Bump, I am starting to get nervous...Nutt really? I am starting to think MB wouldn't know a winner if that person kicked him in the...well..nuts.

Dan Hawkins

womens- B-ball coach

BZZZZ

I'm thinking no unless former players and others help him understand how crucial this is. Seek good counsil, so far his track record sucks.

Doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

voted for a bunch of random ones to mess with the stats.

isn't Bohn batting .000 at CU right now? which one of his coaches could be considered successful? possibly Bz
