If I was going to make a guess ahead of the announcement, I would have gone with Clough. Choosing the Faculty Athletic Rep is the safe choice.

I hate search committees...this is ridiculous - the committe should be Bohn, DiStephano, and one or two top level AD staffers. The more people involved in this decision, the more likely we are to get a very vanilla hire - groups overthink things and err on the side of the cozy, safe pick. I don't even know why we have to announce this, Bohn should say "this hire is on me, I will consult with the appropriate people, but the buck stops here". By announcing the members of the committee, now you open up the phone lines and emails to all these people to any clown who thinks they know who should be hired.

I would tend to agree. Now, the rest of the 'committee' better be good...

Is the committee going to do the initial reviewing of potential candidates, reviewing resumes and proposals, and determining the 4 or 5 coaches who will ultimately be considered for the job, then handing the ultimate hire over to Bohn?

Or is this committee actually going to be making a decision on the final position?

don't know, but I would hope they vett the short list and recommend a top candidate and 1 backup
