The knee injury the Iowa State QB suffered last week versus the Buffs appears to be career ending. He needs total reconstruction on his left knee.

I hate to see that. He was a fun player to watch 11 weeks out of the season and did a lot for that program.

That sucks. He was a great player for them. Terrible way for the career to end...

sad to hear. A friend of mine is his cousin.

As Mike Iltis said last night, "you never know when it's gonna be your last snap."

Sad to hear. Fun to watch our D teeing off on someone like that - but would never wish bad knees on anyone. At least he has an education to fall back on.

That really is too bad for the kid. If nobody minds answering, how did the injury happen? Just a freak tackle?

He got wraped up by 3 of our D players and towards the end someone slipped down to where his knees where and the rest is history

1. Very sad it is an injury like that.
2. It was good to see the buffs tackling that hard. That D played with anger.

Sorry to see his career end that way.

That stinks, all the best to AA. I always liked him as a player. Get well soon AA.

I think my high school degree is worth more than an ISU bachelors...

I kid, hopefully they can find a way to reconstruct his knee - he's a good player.

Same play where Sipili scooped up the fumble and took it to the house. When watching it live, I thought it odd that Arnaud seemed to have just dropped the ball. I understand now why it went down that way.

not to pile up on Austen, but the backup they have at Iowa State looked pretty damn good.

Funny stuff. I know its hard to believe, but ISU is one of the better academic institutions in the Big XII. I know, that's like choosing the sexiest midget...

Poor kid. Arnaud as not had good luck at Folsom, getting stuffed on the 1 yard line for the win 2 years ago and giving up the back breaking fumble due his knee getting injured is tough. I always want our team to knock the opposing players out of the game, legally of course, but I only want them injured until the game clock hits zero. Karma to you buddy.

One of my best friends is a ISU grad-- and makes a couple mill a year. that said, he does joke that he attended a nice little Junior College in Ames.

Congrats on a solid college career.
Few visiting QB's get a win in Lincoln and Austin.

Here's to hoping you'll be dancing again soon.
