Viking coach confirms Colorado's interest in Eric Bieniemy

That would be allsome. Santa is a great recruiter and I hear Rudolf has a real nose for the game and has been a real bright spot on Santa's staff.

No thanks. We already had Hermie the Elf and he sucked. No more North Pole hires....

After rumors of U of Minnesota possibly contacting EB it is great to see that CU is putting forth some official interest in him. Maybe it's Bohn but maybe this committee knows whats it's doing.

Hearing the talk of what a great recruiter he is just makes me excited for the kind of talent we need to pull this program up to the top again. Even if there is some staged process where he becomes an OC and waits in the wings behind Mac would be fine with me.

Lets get him on board somehow!

Just watched cfb sports on Eee s Pee in. They mentioned that Childress thought very highly of EB. They did not elaborate much more than that. I never heard anything about whether or not they got the vikings permission to make contact with EB, but they obviously did talk to him.

Yeah, so long as he has some great ****ing coordinators, EB is our guy.

Would think he would try and retain Cabral as DC, no? Or would Cabral move on hoping for a HC job somewhere else?

Greg Brown as DC in that case? Hankwitz for a third tour? Mac as his DC?

I would bet Karl Dorrell would be one of EB's first calls for OC, and that would be just fine with me.

Would be curious if EB has any opinion of Kiesau, Ambrose, Prince, and/or Bandison; but the decision on Hagan would be really magnified with EB being a RB coach already.

I would love for Cabral to stay if EB gets the nod. That is exactly the type of guy we need as the DC. Tons of experience, good recruiter, and even some HC experience. Dorrell would be nice as the OC too, again brings lots of experience and in the PAC too.

The way the next coach at CU wins is by being a kick ass recruiter, having assts with lots of experience, and instilling discipline and toughness in the team. After that, there isn't much else to it and if you do those things correctly, game day will come together on its own.

EB and Ambrose played together for three years in Cincy.
