What would our record be with Cabral at the Helm?

I was wondering this today as were were busy not choking or doing anything stupid.

A better question is what was the problem before. This seems like a whole different team. Same coaches minus one, same players, completely different team. If Cabral just put in what Mac had before, shouldn't Mac be the man. Unless Cabral wins out with a bowl game win then, how could you deny him?

The logic is this post is fundamentally sound.

That is a question you can't really answer. If we didn't implode in Kansas. Cabral probably wouldn't be the head coach for the last two wins. If Hawk was canned after OU, likely we had a chance to beat Baylor and TT at home, Kansas on the road and ISU and KSU.
Easily an 8 and 3 team.

Would have certainly beaten Kansas. Probably would have beaten Baylor, perhaps even Texas Tech.

I say, if Cabral had been head coach from week one, CU would be no worse than 6-5 right now, more likely 7-4 or 8-3.

I fully believe that we should have beaten Baylor, TTech, and Kansas. So, 8-3 right now as a worse case if we had Cabral (or any decent HC) for those games.
