Anyone that went to the game

You should be proud based on everything I have read.

(I was at the game, but wouldn't exactly be the 1st witness a lawyer would want to use.)

the senior intros were pre-game and the crowd gave cody a standing ovation. dh and the whole family was on the field and the media pretty much surrounded them.

it was a classy showing by the fans, which is how it should have been.

then dh went up to the balcony in dal ward and donned his unibomber outfit...

Yea, very classy by the whole Folsom crowd. If there was any booing, I didn't hear it. Most of the crowd was on their feet for all of the seniors and Cody got the loudest applause and cheer.

I thought we did great. The players went over and hugged Hawkins, too. Cody deserved a huge crowd and he got one!! The fans were extremely loud at the game (my son was the loudest) and I was extremely proud to be a Buff fan today!!

zimmer made a comment about this today that pretty much echos what you said. standing o from the crowd and was very proud of the CU faithful today in how they treated hawk. both big and small.

i was very happy to hear that it went down like that as well. good stuff!

Solder ran over and gave Hawk a big hug. The whole thing was really nice. Very classy.

The crowd was great, we moved down to the student section and I was taken aback at how well-behaved they were. I have to say, when I was a student we were much more obnoxious.

All the obnoxious ones went home for Thanksgiving. The student section was pretty sparse.

well, that's very nice....a nice luv fest...much better than a hate fest. But remember when all the players went to hug Rick at UW after the game in Seattle? Except for one that I know of. Pissed off a lot of fans.

But, all and all, it's the best way to act and put it all behind now. Too bad GB never had a luv fest as a send off because he DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG and was still fired.

Yeah, yeah...water under the bridge. Five years later and now what? Where does CU go from here?

i was at the 50 abotu 25 rows up... it was prolly in the same section a group of people about 10 "seats" away

And likely much more drunk. (If you were like me.....)

I didn't hear any but I also missed the start of the game, damn Black Ops. But everyone was sober, that's why. Great to hear that they cheered Cody on.

That pissed me off, too. I can see a couple differences there. First, Skippy walked out on that team, then trashed CU on the way out. Second, he was the coach of the opposing team. If Hawkins came back into Boulder coaching somebody else, and had trashed CU in the process, I definitely wouldn't be as accepting of the CU players giving him a big hug...

I was in sec 214. Mostly cheers but I did hear some boos for Hawkins, not many though. Distepheno definetly got some boos and lots of comments about how they are lying when they said he supports athletics.

I thought it was a great crowd today!

Count me as one of the guys that boos DiStephano, and I will until he PROVES he really gets the need to support the program. Until then, he can f**k off.

Thought the crowd was great and I thought Cody got the loudest cheer when he was introduced...

What do you mean he didn't do anything wrong? He failed to police over 100 guys and all of Boulder county at all times. And he called Katie Hnida a girl. In the meantime, Rick Reilly was doing his level best to police his own basement, but failed.
