That'd be an awesome slap in the face to the ****ers...oops I mean Huskers.

Bizarre. Not seeing anything on the Husker outlets. Gotta believe its just a rumor at this point.

Edit - Seeing some posts now, will be interesting to see if its true and how this plays out.

Well maybe pelini will stop running around on the side lines spitting on everyone everytime a call
doesnt go his way. Dude should drink a little before the game to relax.

Why in the hell would he quit!

Because he quit temporarily after getting yanked in the Texas game (after consultation with his father). Unfortunately I think his dad is driving this. No doubt Pelini went off on him, but I think he is too young to deal with it.

If the difficulty I am having getting on to the husker board is any indication... their board might be on fire, for some reason tonight... hmm

Supposedly they are having a presser tomorrow at 11:00AM, so either it is Bo Peep apologizing for his embarrassing conduct last night or it is to announce Martinez left.

18 or 19 year old kid, struggling with an injured ankle, probably was good enough in HS to dominate even if he was hurt. All of the sudden he is hearing from thousands of fans who expect him to be the savior, he is struggling with school, away from home and friends, struggling with an injury, playing against guys who are as good of athletes as he is, and Pelini gives him a spit shower.

One of the advantages of playing at Nebraska is that you are the center of their sports universe, problem is that this is also the biggest disadvantage. In Boulder a guy can play in front of a sold out Folsom Field on Saturday and on Sunday be just another college student living life. Even for the most prominent players, Denver is only a short drive away if they want to escape. In Lincoln there is no escape from the attention, only more corn fans.

I hope that he is actually okay and I would be surprised if he isn't on the field playing this week but as a frosh QB in that environment I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't just say screw it and look to move on. He still has his redshirt so the transfer wouldn't impact him that much.

Because Bo is an assclown and karma will get the best of him. Refs are already against him, he keeps his childish act up, he will lose the respect of his players and other coaches and it will snowball from there. I am starting to think Bo will turn out to be a flop of a coach when he loses respect.

Why would he be texting while being checked in the locker room, not to smart on his part.
I guess that is why pelini went off on him.

I read that he wanted to text his dad to let him know he was ok.

Maybe he was texting his parents letting them know he was ok?
Still. He's the starting QB. His head should be in the game. I would've gone off on him too.

...Maybe not as bad as Bo did, but I would've let him know that if I saw the cell phone in his hands again, I'd insert it where he probably wouldn't like it.

He couldnt wait untill halftime or his parents see him on the sidelines. He seemed just fine to me at the time.

Oh well no big deal

No doubt it's pretty selfish of him but I can't say I blame him for wanting to if no one was going to tell his parents. Martinez should have been smarter about it but Bo's a douchbag.

Interesting... apparently he quit in the summer, but Bo talked him back and named him starter a few days later...

This is gaining steam, bookmaker.com just pulled their line for the game. Also, a friend in Nebraska said that his insiders told him Bo might be looking at a game suspension, the chancellor is pissed!
