Pelini said he expects green to start since martinez is bothered by the ankle anyone know about green or has he played much?.

Last year every Nub fan thought Green was going to start this year. I believe he is sort of like T-Mart in that he is a dual threat, but I have heard he has fumbling issues at times.

Figure we better prepare for Martinez...could see all three of their QBs in this game for different packages. Who knows...

I thought that if you brought in your third QB the other two couldn't come back in. Or is that just an NFL rule?

Would be news to me...can't recall I have ever seen it. Anyway, CSU Husker noted that Zac hurt his hand so not a possibility anyway.

I dunno.... If pelini wasn't foaming at the mouth, screaming, and losing control of his bladder bowels - I'm not buying it.

I bet the fuskers run the wildcat with Burkhead and Helu 30+% of the time. When they've done it they have been reasonably effective. If Martinez is truly hobbled (or gets re-injured) and the corn WR's keep dropping passes the wildcat may be their most effective weapon.

Time for our run D to step up big.

When Arky ran it, they called it the Wild Hog. When The Buffs run it they call it the Wild Buff. What do the fuskers call it? The Wild Kernel? The Wild Cob? The Wild Husker? The Wild Bugeater? The Wild Niblet? The Wild Kingdom? The Wild Barnyard? Something just doesn't sound right....

Wild Nowledge.

Green got a slight concussion vs ISU. He was a walking turnover prior to that. Fumble or pick 6 threat each snap. Not a real running threat. Great team player. Expect the Wildcat ...lots.
