Cody Green Starting? Really

Martinez isn't gonna play, day two in a boot. Green will play and you'll see alot of running. I'd worry whether your offense can move the ball on our defense. Expect some wildcat and plenty of Helu..........

We've done pretty well against some good backs the last couple weeks. Hopefully we can bring that into Lincoln. Last year we had over 400 yards of total offense (most allowed by NU all season). We have more playmakers on offense this year (Richardson,Clemons, Jefferson). I do expect us to work for yards though. I do have to say watch out for Richardson, he can do anything when he touches the ball.

It's gonna be a battle for both teams. Probably will be a low scoring defensive battle.

Our defensive line isn't quite as stout as it was last season, but they are really starting to come along in the past few games. I'd put our secondary up against anybody and Lavonte David, our middle linebacker............is a beast!

Not only is he in a boot, it is on the opposite foot of the ankle injury. Apparently, not only did he reaggravate the ankle, but his toe got crunched at aTm and is dealing with a turf toe like injury I think. Either it is a major smokescreen or he ain't playing.

I want tmart to play. I want the flying blini brothers on the sidelines. I don't want a schellenberger.

No offense RDB, but who gives a **** about an asterisk. The W is all that is important. Nobody is going to care who was starting qb for NU was anyway, all they will be talking about is them getting beat by Colorado and blowing the North title. I hope we get to play their 3rd string qb and pound them.

Is Helu goint go to be 100% after missing the 4th quarter with a calf injury and not practicing Monday??

David did get my attention during the A&M game.
O-Line isn't going to give Cody Hawkins as much time with that guy running the perimeter.

What kind of year is Jared Crick having? I was expecting him to pick up some conference honors this season. It appears that Prince Amukamara is one of the big playmakers.

Word is he's coming along pretty well. He didn't participate in the Sunday session of light workouts due to his injury, it was pretty sore. He took some reps yesterday and today from my understanding. By Friday I'd imagine he'll be pretty close to 100%.

Skid,

Crick started off slow, but the past few games he's started to step his game up. He got some praise last season just because alot of teams had to double team Suh so that opened things up for Crick. Prince is the real deal, Blackmon from OSU did have a decent game against him, but we made some mistakes on defense. Prince was in position most of the time to make a play, but he either didn't time his jump right or didn't turn around quick enough. From my standpoint I'd say Hagg, Dennard, Amukamara, and Gomes are all ballhawks and will be all over your receivers. We probably won't get alot of pressure on little Hawk, but we'll stop the run from what I've seen the past 2 or 3 games.

None taken. There wasn't an actual asterisk for that game -- just a W. Sure was crappy hearing that ancient, drunk coach complain. Oh, and I don't care to hear the same type of excuses again -- even if the rantings of a roid-rage lunatic make for good TV.

I have just about zero confidence in our offense to score points. I have alot of confidence in our defense and hope they can create some points off of turnovers.
