Sorry if this is in another thread but I'm ****-housed at Blake St Tavern drnking my sorrows away and I'm incapable of reading at this point. Has Cody set the record? Could have sworn he needed about 150 and he's at 162. Can someone help a drunken Buffalo out? Oh, and as always, GO BUFFS!!!! (sigh)

I think, if you count 'em, he set the record for balls swatted back in his face. But I could be wrong.

:rofl2:

Hey, I don't want to rag on Cody. But it really is a shame that he set the yardage record, given the results.

It is a shame, setting records with these many losses is kind of like your first beer being a stroh's.

Thanks guys, now back to the bottle. CU next season and see you next season! Oh and parting thought, does Cody's name go in the rafters after setting the record? If I'm not mistake, Kordell didn't make the cut, correct?

The "rafters" are for guys who were named All-American, which is why Kordell isn't up there. I can assure you Cody will never be, either.

Cody was a warrior for the Buffs. Let's hope future Buff QB's have all the class, but 10,000x the talent.

That being said, it is probably not a surprise that a qb who has played for pretty much 4 years dominates the career passing numbers.

He did a hell of a job over these past three games.

Tough loss today, but it was a team effort.

Man, I respect what Cody has done for the buffs over the last 5 years and I respect him as a man, but that was an awful game he played today.

Not his fault. Talk to God (about his physical attributes) and to Danny (about his mental and spiritual being).

I don't question his mental but his physical being was not big enough for a D1 Big XII QB. Kid's tough and I respect him for playing his heart out for 5 years and sticking by this program through thick and thin.

Nothing but respect for CH but he had to break the record for the most tipped passes in NCAA history. Never completely bought into the idea that the height of a QB is a real success factor, especially looking at Flutie and Brees, but after the last 3 years, I fully buy into the notion that height is a good thing. I wish him nothing but the best in the future.
