Henderson will do anything to contradict CU. Notice he still left that last sentence in as a dig, even though it has nothing to do with the story. He's a tool.
 
Enough with the "black" stuff! You hire the most qualified candidates. If they are the most qualified, then perfect.

I wonder if Coach Mac had to talk EB into coming as the OC.

But I agree Jens, a bold article after already being slapped down. This smells of payback.

Bizarre. Mac's statements or bizarre as is the confirmation, retraction, confirmation bs. Just announce and start recruiting.
 
Sigh. So many agendas and it is hard to tell who is looking out for CU's best interest here.

Mac is going against the grain here for a reason. He stood behind Hawk when he had to know Hawk wasn't getting it done. He has been the good soldier. Something has obviously gotten under Mac's skin with the AD and or MB. Could it be the hatchet job in the Daily Camera from a few days ago calling Mac out over his comments from 18 years ago?

Does JE come with the baseball cap? I hope so. I also hope he's not taller than our future QBs. :thumbsup:
 
This is underwhelming...And I lost some respect for Mac for leaking this.
 
Story just updated again...says Embree was escorted off the field from Redskins practice today by a member of the PR staff to avoid questions.
 
Reporters who write these kinds of stories often have a source that they can not name. Usually these people confirm things without comment or point the reporter in the right direction.

Clearly he's on to something.

Mike Shannahans comments are the most concrete evidence though. He virtually acknowledged the JE got the job. Seconded by Mac's statements who seems to have some how influenced the situation.
 
We shouldn't have gotten our hopes up. Bzdelik and Boyle were also pretty underwhelming hires. Nothing new here. On one hand, I blame Bohn... on the other I just worry that CU isn't a very attractive place nationally regarding NCAA sports. Either that, or its all about money.
