I'm def looking to go to this depending on Finals. Last years game at Moby was my first Buff away game and CSU fans are so annoying. **** the lammies

We should make this an AllBuffs get together at the Dark Horse a couple hours before tipoff.

Definite Dark Horse pregame. And Snow, I thought we were going to Loko for that game? It's goooood.

No. NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo. I think my heart needs a break. Plus, then I won't be able to drink (much) at the DH... and they have delicious beer.

and stop using my old handle.

Yeah, I don't want to Loko either. Gonna hold off for a few weeks at least. What you mean stop using your old handle?

I was thinking we should get a "Know Thy Enemy" thread going before each "major" game, ie. not Alcorn State. Just post dirt on the other team, possibly some good chears that would get in the other team's head.

I grew up a Maryland fan, and they do it for every game, as a print out handed to every student, and most people in the stadium. And I remember a couple times this was done at CU around 2004 or 2005. It was always pretty cool thing as you got to know a little more about a opposing player other than where they grew up and how tall they are. It also made for some good chants. I remember one player, I think from Kansas years ago that got arrested for stealing shoes at Wal-mart, thus the entire student section chanted Wal-mart to him, it was clear it got in his head.

CSU could be a good game to start this.

Interesting.

Both. Excitement with the B-Ball team seems to really have tailed off with the slow start... Still I'll be heading up despite finals. Woo

C-Unit does this for some games. It's a single gold sheet of paper with exactly what you're talking about called "Buffalo Chips" or something like that. I'm not sure who does it or how they decide if they're going to do it for a given game but it does happen more frequently once spring semester starts.

I'll be at the Dark Horse before the game with my crew. I pretty much have to go after not closing my tab after the Oregon State game!

This game is huge for CU...I'd hate to see CU lose to CSU...we just cannot afford to lose to them.

Especially after last season when their entire fanbase acted like a bunch of blood-belching sausage wallets! I damn near got in three fights leaving Moby Arena, and for once was actually minding my own business!

I have been to a quite a few away games as a CU fan, and been to a good bit of ACC basketball (where the fans take basketball seriously), and CSU had to be the rudest and dumbest fans out there. I have been to 2 games at Moby, and both of them it was a bunch of jackasses trying to get in fights. My buddy a few years back was just sucker punched in the stomach, in front of a cop, and nothing happened, but then when we were using dirty words while chearing, we both got arrested, and luckly had our sober friend convince the cops to let us go.

I had very conflicting feelings going up there. I absolutly love when a arena makes for a intence place to play, but I didnt like it much to be on the recieving end of it, and well, their chants were dumb, and they did a bunch of weird crap.

Now I wanna go to a CSU CU game in Foco.

This CU basketball team could be a great team and they showed us last year how well they can play against some of the top teams in the league (being the Big XI still this year). With Tad Boyle now coaching, they have had to transition back into a motion-style offense instead of the Princeton-style that coach Bzdelik preached the last few years and finally they are coming together as a team on offense and defense. Last game showed how well they can get up and down the court and beat an opponent, especially at home. Defensively they had a good game rebounding considering their height disadvantage and CU needs to beat down CSU. Last year's experience at Moby was horrific and the fans were completely classless. Boyle showed great passion last game as well and I think the players are up for the challenges they have ahead of them starting tomorrow against CSU. Look at the production all across the board from the team and also note the great freshman play from Roberson and Mills as well... Go BuffS!
