Moore was a high school All American who visited CU and developed a relationship with Greg Brown.

Moore is back on the market. He has visits scheduled to Tennessee (this weekend) as well as Oregon State (1/14) and Washington (1/21).

Interestingly, Moore was supposed to visit Brown and Arizona but announced on December 2nd that he had cancelled the trip. Given the timing of the cancellation and the reports of Brown coming back to CU as our Defensive Coordinator, it begs the question... Is Brown bringing Moore to CU with him?

bring your buddy josh!!!!!

I believe that devon kennard who was ON CAMPUS.

I'm pretty sure I'm thinking of Moore. It was a guy that was listed as an athlete, committed to USC, but was wavering. We had a guy committed from his team (Moten) and we got him in for a visit in January, but couldn't get him.

You're right and (for anybody who missed it) Moten's legal troubles are over; all charges dropped as expected. What a cluster that was.

He visited, but we really did not have much of a shot.

If you visited as a senior in HS, went to a D1 school, left that school and went JC, and now back on the market...

do you get to take officials again?

I was hoping Byron Moore would look at us again after he transferred to a JC. It would be fantastic to get him here. Looking at our depth at CB next year is a little scary. God, getting our staff in place can't happen soon enough.

Hagan was responsible for recruiting Moore originally. Hopefully Embo will retain him.

“It was a great trip,” Moore said. “The campus was beautiful, the players and coaches were all fun to be around and I can definitely picture myself playing at Colorado for the next four years of my life.

“The coaches are all about the players there and I have a good relationship with Coach Hagan who has been recruiting me for a while now. I loved my visit to Notre Dame too and now that I’ve taken this last visit, I can compare evenly all three of my final schools and lay out all the positives and negatives.”

Nik, have you seen his latest update on Rivals?

I just read the Tennessee trip report. Interesting.

http://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1161450

Everyone - he's basically saying that he wants something different and loved how former players were involved.

valdezj - that the one you meant or was there another one? I think this one is positive for us. Also, did you see that Scout had UCLA as his clear leader while Rivals shows them as pretty much eliminated? Do you have any read here since you covered this one the first time around?

This is the first I've heard about him since he went JUCO. I was also talking about the Tennessee update. I'm wondering if he's already made up his mind, I hope he at least takes a visit to Boulder again. I'm sure Hagan is on this one.
