Formerly an Oklahoma commit, Barnett has decided to re-open his commitment. Looks like Arkansas may have made an impact.

This is a big time visit. I'm kind of shocked. We need to win this one.

Any word on how he liked his visit? His fellow teammate Farrow committed. Maybe he and Chris will be teammates for the Buffs as well!!!!

He didn't commit.

There's a new Rivals article/interview, though. http://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1142202

"I have always liked to get down and dirty and Colorado likes to get down and dirty. They are trying to do that more right now, they are trying to get better, which is great. You either want to join a program that is dominating or a program that is trying to get better, that is trying to improve. If you can go somewhere and be part of them improving, that is something special and that is something to consider."

Like the quote...this kid seems to have things in perspective. My guess is he'll be successful wherever he goes, but I sure hope it's CU.

Thanks Nik. It sounds like he is open and like Creebuzz said has things in perspective. Sounds to me like he is softly considering the Buffs.

Somebody the new staff should definitely contact. Hard to imagine there are too many TE Coaches out there who can compete with Embree's track record.

Some questions on whether he has many options at this point. All those nice looking offers might not be valid, there are rumors that many schools backed off.

So he ended up signing with Michigan, but is leaving already. Apparently, he showed up to summer workouts at about 280.
