Good job by Mike and team. It was a long climb getting this thing out of the red. And we know how we feel about red at Dal Ward.

free burritos for everyone.

I think they should have come in a bit in the red. Today's record is tomorrow's forecast.

Making some $$$ on football, but would be great if we could be breaking even on Basketball....at least sometime in the near future....losing 3 mil on BBall hurts the bottom line

Considering how pitiful our major programs have been for quite a while, this is a minor miracle and one of the aspects of his job Bohn does very well. As fans we tend to focus on wins and losses, which is fair and to be expected, but MB deserves a lot of credit for this IMO.

I didnt read the report but my understanding is Men's BB comes in about break even and we lose almost all of that on women's.

Yeah, BBall breaks even and then We made 13 + million from football, but lose 7 million on women's athletics. And another few on track, golf, and skiing. Both mens and women's =/

Cool, Good work CU. Absolutely love that we're operating within our budget. What a concept!!!!

Hopefully the Bball revenue #s and donations will be a little higher in the coming years to pay for this conference switch.

Just got to win. That will get us on tv more, draw a bigger crowd, and put us in postseason tournaments.

This is true for men's, women's and the volleyball team. Long-term goal should be for women's basketball+ volleyball to break even and men's basketball to make a few million. If we can get there, then our facilities improvement programs will really take off.

Speaking of which i finally got the chance to check out the buffclub lounge at Coors. I can't imagine they couldn't get someone to sponsor that and improve it a ton. Add a second Bar, some couches, a half dozen TV's, actually use the projection screen, and pipe in the game audio. I am sure it wouldn't cost and arm and a leg and they'd make a ton in concession sales, hell they could even require a donation for access.

I'm just happy they have 24 oz beers now.

Now we just need to consistantly start going to bowl games and the NCAA tournament to start increasing the numbers....amazing what has been done to balance the budget with no real football success in the last five years and the same with the basketball teams.

This. I would happily sit a little longer in there in a blowout non-conf game and suck down a few more drinks. Is there someplace down there with a little more room? We're basically overflowing as it is.
