Not sure where we are going with the kicker/punter situation, but Miles MacKenzie still has CU on his interest list.

MacKenzie still is working on what he wants to do at the next level.
"I'm at the top of the USD recruiting list. CU and CSU are still interested. I'm also talking to CC for soccer and Occidental for football. It has been pretty crazy."

Yes. We just don't have a lot of kickers with profiles, so any that show CU in their interest list are getting a look.

• Do we have enough kickers and punters?

• Can we really crack the PAC12, with just three guys?

• Should there be twice as many kickers as quarterbacks on the roster in any given year?

Maybe you didn't say the last one, but you were thinking it, right? It's called FOOTball for a reason.

MacKenzie has also not ruled out a preferred walk on position at Colorado State and Colorado. Colorado is full of many of Mackenzie’s old Denver East buddies Devaughn Thornton, Quentin Hildrith and Zach Grossnickle.
