'11 JUCO QB Zack Stoudt (Verbal to Mississippi)

Not sure if this is cool to do, but here is a kid that I'd really like CU to go after.

QB- Zack Stoudt
6'5" 230 lbs
Iowa Western Community College
Dublin Coffman HS (Dublin, OH) - class of 2008

Pro-Style QB

Scout - 2 star
Rivals - 3 star

He was a Louisville commit who left when Kragthorpe was fired.
It seems he will earn his AA degree in December, so might be easier to transfer, and would be ready for Spring practice.
Has 2 years to play 2.
He played against Deji Olatoye in Dublin, OH in at least one HS game (9/21/2007).

Kansas and Mississippi are high on his list so far, but he fits the mold of everything we need in a QB to challenge Tyler this spring and buy some time for the "kids" to be ready. It might be too late to get in on him, but it would be great to try!

In an article from Lawrence Journal-World
“I will make my decision based off of playing time and the coaching staffs,” Stoudt said. “Those are the two biggest things I will be looking for. Right now, Kansas is my favorite. Those other schools are going to have to beat them out.”

And how can you not be excited about a kid with the last name STOUDT!

Zack is Cole Stoudt's older brother. I didn't realize that he had left Louisville. He was a pretty big recruiting get for them when he signed.

Would it be legal for me to send him a "Got Stoudt" AllBuffs T-shirt?

No, sorry. Recruiting violation.

Would be great insurance and to push Tyler and Nick in practice. Especially if Berglund redshirts as I assume he would.

Narrowed it down to Ole Miss and Kansas last week.

Picked Mississippi today.
