Per Ringo: Coaching staff to be announced today

The site with the initials of BS is still saying that this will not be a complete announcement. No QB or S&C coach and probably no WR coach.

Thanks, Snow.

Considering that we have Buff Stampede (Rivals), Buff Scoop (AZ's), and Buffalo Sports (Scout)... we can probably do a better job of giving credit.

AZ had that info. :smile2:

 i had no idea that scout was also BS. I just love referring to the initials of AZ's site. But yes, AZ was on it.

If you had no idea Scout is BS, you clearly haven't looked at the site for a long time....

Has the Kennedy ship sailed?

looks like it...

The QB position would be important, but I don't think it is for now with our only QB in this class already heavily committed and NFL QB coaches are interested... the WR position shoudl be filled soon imho. the UT/UF situation probably delayed it some.

So, we have more takers for the qb job other than harris now? Sounds interesting. Reading the board, looks like out chance at getting kennedy is gone? Oh well, I'm sure EB and Mcghee can get some texas kids in here.

Kennedy is not gone. Just delayed I think. Which makes sense considering the huge O shakeup going on down south. Nik had a really good point in his article about how CU really went after Texas talent when Embrrrito and EB were here. I have a feeling no matter who our WR coach is, he will recruit the Lonestar crater state.

I love the recruiting focus. TX, Cali, and Hawaii, with a little Ohio, Louisiana, and Colorado sprinkled in....smart, focused recruiting. Not the cracker-jack method we've witnessed for the past 5 years.

Don't forget New Jersey. Sure seems like we have the beginnings of a possible pipeline of a player or two from there every year.

I hope they keep some of the contacts/in-roads in tact. There are lots of good players in Ohio and NJ, and we seem to have established at least a minimal presence in both. Since CO doesn't have that large of a population base, we'll always need players from out of state. Yes, Cali and Techass have the most to offer and should be a focus, but don't burn the bridges.

I'm starting to like the connection with Don Bosco. To make a correlation, the boomers have pulled some pretty talented kids out of a hs in Las Vegas. I realize this is an unusual wish, but it would be cool to see most of/all of the staff make a trip to Don Bosco for a day.
