or someone you really care about is a bad idea for attorneys. You lack the objectivity to realize how a situation looks to people outside that situation. I'm wondering if the same may be somewhat true for JE, at this very early stage. If he is stressing really hard work and committment to this university he loves, it may be too much for some kids. They may want the easier path. I'm sure JE will get it done, but he may have to learn how unattractive a commitment to hard work at a losing school might be.

Why, when we all have the day off, is the NBA the only daytime option?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. My 8 year-old is with her mom tomorrow, so after ice skating, it will be present time for her. Woo-woo!

 I might give Embrrrito 3 full weeks on the job before judging his methods and their effectiveness. Maybe even a MONTH!

You may have missed it (snowblind?), but I haven't judged anyone or anything. Just expressing a thought

 are you really making this claim? Fine. In that case, I would suggest you stop worrying about the "dangers" his actually caring about cu presents to his coaching/recruiting until he is on the job for more than 2.5 weeks..

Selling a program to those that don't seek an easy path has worked successfully for the Marine Corps for decades...

I don't get the attorney analogy.

By extension, we should have 3rd party representation for any situation in life that we care about.

To underscore how ridiculous that notion is, consider if you hired Snow to handle communications with your significant other.

I would certainly not care about him. Therefore, I would be an excellent representative. :smile2:

In actuality, that is what people do for a divorce... Doesn't always work out so well

Snow's stutter problem would create issues when he tried to tell her she was a continuing source of inspiration.

There's usually a college football game or two on. The Hawaii Bowl (Hula Bowl, Aloha Bowl, whatever they call it) was always on Christmas Day, as I recall.

I like the analogy. Will the needs of JE's CU Buffs ego distort his perception? Or will that ego be the key to his success? Time will tell.

That one's on tonight at like 6 eastern or something.
Cowgirls are on tomorrow night against the Cardinals.

Back when I was in private practice, we used to say that "the attorney who represents himself has a fool for a client." I would add the attorney who represents family or a partner's family. I once represented one of my partner's brothers in a divorce and it was the worst experience of my professional life. Glad I don't do that crap (family law) anymore.

You say you haven't judged anything, but it sure sounds like you have. Apology after the fact. (snowblind?)
