My friend said he just saw Dan Hawkins in the Phoenix Airport decked out in Oregon gear... WTF?

I think the old saying of "if you suck as a HC, might as well become a bandwagon fan" applies here

Guys, guys, guys. He told us when he took over the program before the 2006 season that he'd be at the national championship game in five years.

Say what you want about the man, but he keeps his word.

What a douche...I hope they sit him in the "FAIL" crowd next to Maurice Clarrett, Rich Rodriguez and Ryan Leaf

Yeah, but how sad would it be to see him wearing Buff gear, mumbling to himself "it's about to pop...must keep chipping away."

Didn't he grow up in Oregon?

Fall River Mills, CA.

I didn't know where that was. So I looked it up.

Oregon is the closest AQ school to his birthplace. And he spent 4 years in Salem, OR coaching at Willamette, prior to making the move to Boise.

We should all stop talking about this doosh. Get rid of the negativity. Catch the irony?

That's as close as his stupid ***** will ever get to a national championship. He picked the losing team to drees up in - some things never change. Guy is the biggest nerd in college football - excuse me . Guy was the biggest nerd.

I'd think it would be more likely to see him in Boise State gear, he has already erased the last five years from his autobiography.
