This game was a huge win for us.

HUGE. You don't get many opportunities to impress the selection committee. Winning on the road against a ranked team gets their attention.

Agreed. Now we just need to hold serve at home, and pick up another roadie or two at nubs or cyclowns .... :gobuffs:

Well, chop my legs off and call me shorty. I cannot believe what I'm seeing. I was really glad to see Boyle get the job. But when we lost to SF, NM, and Harvard, I was kind of bummed. But that is long behind me now. This guy can flat out coach. I think the thing he has going for him is his demeanor. The ksu coach was going all ballistic and Boyle was as cool as a cucumber.

Beat the #8 and # 20 teams back to back, wow.

Seriously, what are the odds on that? I would have given them a 5% chance of winning their first two big 12 games. Mizz has been killing us in everything the past few years, and to win against a top 25 team ON THE ROAD? Holy ****!

They looked very sharp. Hope that Boyles can keep coaching these guys up after the vets graduate.

Well said. Boyle is very calm and collected and regardless of mistakes, he's always there to commend you on the effort and keep your chin up and confident. I have to admit, the Mizzou and K-State wins aside, it's not just because of that, I think he's great and is his methods are making a HUGE difference.

Wow. That was very nice.

In the 18 yrs that I've followed CU hoops, this latest run of 11 games or so may very well be the best I've ever seen a CU team play. And it's not just the Mizzou and KSU wins, c'mon, I'm not shallow, I know my hoops. This team has a much different look. They're hungry & confident. It's awesome to see.

I have a feeling we're NOW in for a 9+ conference wins and definite post-season play.

However, I want the big boys, just once. What would really top everything for me (and I shouldn't get ahead of myself) would be ONE nice ass beating win over .... :smile2:

.... You know who I'm talking about.

It'll be awesome to be in the CECC this weekend. Another big team coming in (OSU) and the crowd should be sick.

I want the CEC to be absolutely rocking on Saturday! Let the 7 million CU football recruits coming to the game see the type of energy we can get going here in Boulder. Beautiful weather for the weekend, I cannot wait!

It's been a while since I've been this excited about being a Buffalo again!!!

I thought it was very impressive that even though Burks had a terrible game, they have other players that will step up like Knutson did tonight. Can't wait to see this team firing on all cylinders.

Agreed. They won on the road and their best player didn't even play well. nice job buffs.

We won with terrible output from arguably our 3 greatest team "strengths"

Alec Burks, 12 points Nuff said.
Our team, which has been so great at taking care of the basketball, had 20 turnovers.
We shot 57% from the free throw line.

I think that's what makes this win so great. We won without playing "our game." Take that K-State

Love the idea that we'll never go back to the little apple again!

Not only is this great for the committe to see, it is going to pay dividend in recruiting as well.

Another interesting point is that the Bix XII has 5 teams ranked, of which we have now beaten 2 of the 5. The Pac only has 1, Washington. Tad is getting this going at a great time as we move to a conference where the day in and day out competition will not be close to what we are seeing today in the Big XII.

Huge win. Beating JUCO U on the road is a huge, huge win. I was really down on this team at the beginning of the season after some disappointing losses. Man was I wrong. This team is very dynamic and actually plays like a team. I can't remember the last time I could say that the Colorado basketball team actually plays like a team. Fantastic.
