Was looking at the final polls, and the AP has Nevada ranked #11 in front of Arkansas. Nevada beat only one team in the final rankings - Bosie. Arkansas played a total of 6 teams ranked in the final poll including 3 in the top 10, and they beat # 8 LSU.

Agree, but I also think putting TCU at #2 is a flipping joke. They are a nice team with a lot of speed and good coaching but their schedule was a joke as well. Both Auburn and Oregon would have made TCU whine for mercy had they played either in the title game.

I think an Oregon-TCU game would have been very competitive.

The way that Auburn and Oregon played in the title game, there were a number of teams, including TCU, who could have beaten them that night.

I think so too, for about 1 1/2 quarters, then Oregon would have toasted them. TCU is a team that lives on speed. Oregon has speed to make TCU look like they are stuck in the mud. Everything that TCU does well Oregon practices weekly and does better.

Wisconsin was the perfect match-up for TCU. They couldn't simulate TCU in practice and thus couldn't prepare for them and then their coaches got stupid and tried to prove that they were multi-dimensional instead of just running over TCU which was working until the Wisconsin coaches inexplicably went away from it.

Not being down on TCU, very good football team but not in the class of Auburn or Oregon this year.

Neither team played inspired football.

Oh noes! The mighty SEC has been robbed. Stupid pollsters should just rank the SEC 1-12 and start everyone else at 13.

Who the **** is Bosie?:smile2:

I love watching SEC football, but who gives a **** about the difference between being ranked 11th or 12th.

Not sure which one Bosie is.

there is only one ranking in the final poll that matters. number one. the rest are all chumps.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a playoff? Then we would actually KNOW how teams like TCU would stack up, instead of having to speculate?

Disagree, TCU played more bowl teams than Oregon did. Wisconsin was very similar to Oregon IMO and TCU beat them. TCU might not win, but they would be competitive with AUburn and Oregon.
